The room was nice and comfy, and the staff were pleasant.
The fact that the door was locked at 10pm, and we couldn’t get in, it was only that we bumped into a member of staff who was on her way home, that she realised we were customers and came back to open the hotel door, and she had to get the key from under the rubbish bins at the back (you couldn’t make it up)also when I booked through booking.com there was no inclination that breakfast was included, nor did they tell us on check in (we went to greggs) they only told us about the breakfast when it was too late. The shower wouldn’t warm up either (luckily there was a bath which did heat up. Also when we checked in, they said I have to give them my bank details for security in case we damage the room or anything in there (I’ve never heard of this after years of hotel stays) and I’m in my 60’s, I’m not going to damage anything at my age, but they weren’t having it, I had to give them my details, so I’ve been checking my account every day since, as I don’t trust them.
