Excellent location close to Chinatown, Central railway station, Haymarket. Lots of restaurants to choose from all very close to hotel. Staff excellent

We always live our stays at the Ultimo

Although we were "upgraded" to a king room I actually found it lacking in appeal to other rooms we have had. It wasn't as inviting , warm or appealing.

Comfy bed and handy location

The noise - I was put in a room that had an adjoining room door right in front of the lift/staircase. So between the two doors in my room I could hear EVERYTHING. The neighbours talking, bashing their bathroom door open and closed, every single person coming and going from the level via the lift or stairs.... makes for an impossible sleep. Not to mention the housekeeping liked to smash everything into the walls, skirting boards etc every morning nice and early. There was no where comfortable to sit in the room - just the bed and 2 uncomfortable dining chairs. Not enough lamps to have light in the room without having the big overhead light on. Overall being in the room itself was noisy and uncomfortable. Wouldn't stay again.
