My new fave place in the lakes

The hotel is so warm and comfortable and really lovely decor and the best little stable bar but the staff are so nice and I can’t even begin to explain the food … just wow blown away by it, my new fave place on the lakes

The staff were very friendly, the lounge for us was like home from home. Beautiful views and a very comfy room, my favourite was the massive deep bath.

Had a fantastic stay. ( had couple of nights from 27th december) Really friendly and helpful staff. My partner is extremely fussy when it comes to cleanliness and she was very happy with our room. Food was delicious. the plating was amazing aswell.

It was situated in a beautiful area, the dining room was phenomenal and the views were outstanding. I didn’t know but I got engaged on the Friday and the hosts knew as my fiance called up in the week running up, it was just wonderful. The food was out of this world!

The only thing was the size of the room however we didn’t stay in the room much so it wasn’t a bother. It was just very small.

Beautiful property, sympathetically restored, interior furnishings reflected the colours of the landscape. High quality throughout, very comfortable and welcoming. Staff attentive especially Brett, food amazing, fresh and well presented.

A pool of delight in the lakes

A warm atmospheric country hotel set in stunning countryside. We were welcomed by the charismatic dryly witty and very accommodating host, I hope he'll forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think his name was Brett, who catered for our every need. The drinks were expertly prepared, and the food was excellent.

Position, lounge was nice as were bar and restaurant.

These comments are just meant to pass on as feedback as our stay was good. Keys for the room were too large to fit in a pocket or bag. Also our room (7) was v noisy I think maybe from the kitchen but this stopped late evening. Also the blind in th3 bathroom needs cleaning or replacing as has brown splashes on.

Staff were lovely, couldn’t do anymore for you. The food was unreal! The restaurant, bar and lounge were all modern with an open fire. I loved the wallpaper in every room.

The bed was a bit small for 2 but I had a really good night sleep.
