About this apartment rental
This unique rental, located on the northern tip of Leroy Island, is one of the most beautiful places on Sodus Bay. Whether you like to fish, waterski, or just sit in the shade and read a book, this apartment has all you need for a get away. The property includes two main bedroom spaces. The air-conditioned upstairs suit contains a private bath, and sleeps two in a queen-sized bed. A queen-sized futon can also fold down to accommodate two more. Downstairs, a the primary bedroom accommodates two more in a California king-sized bed with a full bath. Air conditioning unit installed on first floor in July of 2021 so the entire house has a/c. Down by the water, the second floor of the boathouse provides a third sleeping space with three more beds (two twins and a full), and provides a cozy, fun, one-of-a-kind bayside experience. Apartment & boathouse comfortably sleep families of 10 with extra room for sleeping bags or air mattresses. A full-sized couch in the living room provides a fourth sleeping space.
There is a laundry room with washer & dryer, a third full bath in the first living space, pantry, several closets and a fully equipped kitchen. First and third floor are connected by stairs. There is wifi, and a flat screen TV. There is also docking space for a boat and a 19’ aluminum canoe available for your use. Second floor apartment is separate and not included in weekly rental. First floor of boathouse is not included (owner storage).

Our family had a great time. We weren’t aware when booking that there are tenants that live on the 2nd floor of the house. It wasn’t an issue and we hardly ever saw them, but you do not have the house to yourself.
The property is great and once John finishes his project near the new break wall it will be amazing! Our boys loved jumping off the boathouse and all the fishing they could do.
The kitchen is stocked with some essentials which is great! Plus the washer and dryer were helpful as well.

Great property with fully equipped house and boathouse. We found the owners to be very positive and responsive.
The only problem we had was that we didn’t have a MacBook Air with which to run the projection TV.

John was a wonderful host. Very accommodating. Went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable, and was very good at communicating when we had questions.

We had 12 people and it was perfect! The sunsets were picture perfect. There are many stairs down to the water and more for those staying upstairs. It helped to balance off all the food we ate!! The owner John was great to deal with. Gets back to you promptly. The house had condiments, spices, baking goods, shampoo etc. A larger toaster or toaster oven would have been nice, especially for a group our size. The highlight for the kids was jumping off the landing into the water at the boathouse. The movie projector screen was a huge hit when they were allowed electronics (our rule no electronics from 8a-8p).The dads and older boys chartered a fishing boat and came back with 70lbs of salmon!! They rent out the second floor to tenants, but we hardly ever saw them. Never heard them either. Tried offering them and all neighbors some salmon. This place will not disappoint you. We traveled to Niagara falls after our 5 day stay. We will be recommending this place to our family and friends. Thank you again John!! You helped make this an enjoyable vacation!!
