Delightful spacious and comfortable room. Had more amenities than some of the larger chain hotels which was a pleasant surprise.
Dining - Good menu choice and enjoyable.
Nothing I didn’t like but quirky that the rooms were across the road from the pub and restaurant, so having to negotiate busy road, especially in the morning, kept you on your toes!
There was a slight musty smell in the room, and the carpet was wet under the roadside window, due to an evident ingress of water from somewhere, which was reported. (There had been a recent downpour which could have been the cause). I did not need to use that side of the room anyway, and it did not spoil my stay. I have no doubt the owners will have investigated following my departure and attended to remedy.
