Breakfast was very good, hot and served to our table. The options on a "light" lunch were very limited and I would suggest maybe toasted sandwiches or just sandwiches to be available as well.
The décor in the bedroom was slightly tired.

Good location for an event I was attending
Although the bed linen was spotless clean, the painting & decor inside the bedroom was tired . There were cobwebs on the outside of the windows which shouldn’t have been there.

Location and setting great, attractive hotel and bar / restaurant, staff friendly, good choice of drinks. Powerful (over bath) shower.
Room clean and comfortable, but dated and poorly lit. Not great value at over £100 per night midweek. Endless wait for basic food for one (refunded without asking when chased, twice) and really poor when it arrived. Didn’t eat there again for breakfast (x2) and dinner (x1) as a result. I’m not a complainer by nature and this place could be really great but my experience was disappointing.
