YWCA Fort Canning

I was on 6/F., for 2 nights I was awakened up around 10 pm, there were people moving & stacking up chairs on 7/F. Later I found out there is a church situated on 7/F, 8/F. So I complained to the Reception. They moved me up to 12/F, the room with one big Queen's size bed. They said it was an upgrade. However, as it is the top floor of the building, there was engine humming noise coming down from the roof top. As I only stay for another 2 nights, I just bear with the white noise.

Room size is reasonably good for couples and esp. for sole traveler. Location is great. Staffs are helpful. Hotel is clean and corridors and reception are smells very nice. Break fast is good and they offer their specialty Kaya jam with bread and egg.

Hotel should definitely think forming an alliance with Gym next door for its visitors that are there for a short stay. That will be really appreciated by incoming visitors.

The staff were professional and friendly The room and beds were comfortable The air conditioning was quiet and worked very well

The bathroom is older style and could be better. The toilet did not fully flush first press.
