Bruno, our host, was really kind and the place is perfect.

Very comfortable and friendly staff. Nice views. Rooms were well equipped, good breakfast.

The property advertised a swimming pool, which is the main reason we booked. But it was on top of the hill behind the house, accessed by a steep rocky track, quite unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems. There's a rope to hang on to, but I missed it and fell off.

Wonderful place - just idealic a couple of minutes away from the centre of Pinhao. The lady welcoming us and who was present at breakfast was incredibly nice. Our room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the main valley, and the AC in the middle of a very hot July was very welcome. You can walk to and from Pinhao very easily, although carefully as the last 2 or 3 min are along a main road. If you have luggages and no car, it is probably easiest to take a taxi. The pool while small is an excellent addition to refresh yourself a bit in the heat and the view from there are just gorgeous. The communication with the owner / staff ahead and during the stay through booking.com was excellent. Thanks again for a wonderful stay - we will likely come back

It is very basic. Also next to a road, which you dont see on the pictures. Also not a social place. You have a quick check-in get the codes of the doors and that is it. Also lacking some simple coffee or tea options in the room. Also no feeling of the being at a winery at all.
