The hotel is reasonably close to the town centre although it is uphill going back to the hotel. The room was very big, with comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and varied.
The air conditioner in the room was very noisy. It produced an annoying high pitched sound whilst it was on. The shower was only available as part of the bath. Service in the breakfast room was somewhat lacking, with tables left dirty for quite a while sometimes making it difficult to find an empty one.

The lobby area was nice and the room was big even though I got a twin bed room for one person
The shower wasn’t working properly, the breakfast was very average and no one could really explain some of the foods.

Hotel was great, very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, we were upgraded to a suite at checkin, lovely surprise.
Lighting was a bit dim in the rooms, but not a bad thing overall.

Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was good, staff were very friendly and helpful
Room and bathroom were very old, hotel still has old appliances/hair dryer from what looks like the ‘80s. Carpet was stained and completely worn. Breakfast was not enjoyable at all. Salad was off. Don’t know how it claims to be 5 star. We would say 3 star
