Parador de Toledo

Beautiful grounds and nice rooms. Excellent views of Toledo! Most of the staff was very kind and accommodating. We were very happy with our stay!

Its location opposite the city is unique. I loved having the car park adjacent to the parador and with access to ev charging too. Welcoming receptionists and panoramic views of Toledo from the terrace bar. It was 40C when we arrived - so too hot to venture into the city - we will definitely return at a different time of year as there’s a lot to see!

The city view from our room balcony was breathtaking! Room was spacious and comfortable. Free Parking was a plus!!

The view of Toledo from the hotel is absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. The building itself is charming, with a traditional design and peaceful surroundings. The restaurant offered decent food, and the outdoor terrace was lovely for relaxing in the evening.

The hotel is far from the city center, so you’ll need to rely on taxis to get in and out of town the costs add up quickly. Be aware that in Toledo, taxi meters start running before pickup, which can make short trips expensive. There’s an alternative service called BOLT that worked well, though it seems to cause some tension with local taxis. There was no air conditioning in October, and it was still warm at night. We had to open the windows, which let mosquitoes in we ended up with quite a few bites. The staff didn’t seem very responsive or helpful about this issue, which made our stay less comfortable.
