Cristallo to the rescue

Booked this hotel very last minute when our other accommodation fell through. Very happy with it. Big room, ski locker, great food, friendly staff.

No tea/coffee facility in the room.

Fantastic location

Excellent location, just opposite the main ski lift. The breakfast was good, with a choice of options and the staff were very friendly. Nice view of the slopes and mountains from the room (behind the main road). Nice spa area too.

The room was pretty hot, which made things less comfortable. Breakfast only starts at 8am which meant we couldn't eat anything when we had to get an early connection out of the resort.

Strategic position 10 m from the slopes. Parking at acceptable daily price (extra) very close (30 m) to the hotel. Exceptional!

Receptionist availability and friendliness are fair but could be improved. The room and bathroom accessories are not fully complying to a four-star rating for the hotel.

Staff was very nice and friendly but they seemed very understaffed which meant that service was limited during breakfast.

Turkish steem bath stank a lot like mold, first whirlpool was broken/cold and then filled with water that also did not smell so nice Matras was very hard, plastic layered molton which made it very sweaty. Also the heating was permanently turned on very high in the room, not possible to turn it lower. Because the room was adjacent to the street it was not really a good option to open the windows. Coffee at breakfast was not hot, just a bit warm. Same for the eggs and bacon. However, the cappuccino ordered with the staff was very nice

Strahlende Freundlichkeit im funktionalen Bau

Der Eingang liegt genau gegenüber dem Turin 2006 Schriftzug, er ist durch die üppige Bepflanzung kaum zu erkennen. Der äußere und innere Charme erschloss sich uns erst, als wir begriffen, dass Sestriere ein Ort mit nur knapp 100jähriger Geschichte ist. Der Orte sollte dem Wintersport dienen und so auch die Hotels. Diese wurden nicht im Sinne von Luxus, sondern ihrer Funtionalität nach gebaut. So auch dieses, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, großzügig im inneren Raum, aber ruhig freundlich und erholsam. Durch das sehr aufmersame, liebevolle und mehrsprachige Personal fühlten wurde uns sofort willkommen, Catwoman. Das Frühstück ist auf den italienischen Gaumen ausgerichtet, Sonderwünsche werden prompt erfüllt. Einen Parkplatz muss man sich im ordentlichen Raum suchen, aber im Sommer kein Problem.

Une nuit à Sestriere.

L´emplacement très pratique en face du parking principal du village. Pour le bar, il y avait que des sodas, bières ou café. Le petit déjeuner très bien mais pour avoir son café, au début. Nous avons dû attendre que quelqu'un arrive. (10min.)

Au l´arrivé, à 17h. il n´y avait personne. Le personnel à l´accueil n´était pas très accueillante et souriante. Le petit déjeuner aussi manque de personnel !

Comodità rispetto alle piste

Vetustà delle camere e delle parti comuni. Parcheggio comodo situato nel condominio di fronte, ma per accedere occorre chiedere le chiavi alla receptionist, la quale pretende che vengano restituite non appena parcheggiata/prelevata la macchina, dovendo utilizzare lo stesso mazzo di chiavi per tutti i clienti.
