Green Garden Eco Resort

I loved Green Garden, we were staying in a very pleasant villa surrounded by landscaped gardens full of tropical flowers - it was a beautiful setting and I'm sure a lot of effort goes into them, the staff should be proud! Our toddler really loved the resort, which had a kids' pool, various sandpits, a playhouse in the kids club area, a play area in the dining room (which we massively appreciated!), and various other play equipment dotted around (eg a play shop outside the real shop, which was a really sweet touch). We stayed half board, and the food was exceptional quality for an all-inclusive type of resort. Different food themes every night, and they really made an effort with the theme, eg on the Eastern night they didn't just have various Chinese classics, but a full sushi buffet and my favourite fruit, lychees, among the desserts. Our bungalow was quiet (due to good soundproofing I think, as both ourselves and the neighbours had infants), tasteful, and had a peaceful setting overlooking the adjacent golf course. As the description makes clear, the resort is set back slightly inland from the main Playa de las Americas resort town, which was a plus as far as we were concerned, but worth factoring in (I'm sure it would be much more expensive if it was beachfront!)

Only a few small niggles with the villa, eg the toilet flush stopped working twice and needed resetting; a request for a fresh cot sheet had to be chased up. The main double bed in the villa was super comfy, but the wicker frame of the nearby mirror was peeling slightly, so we had to keep our toddler away from the loosening tacks; the villa is quite dim and the separate bedroom could do with a bedside light; there were no proper curtains, just transparent drapes, in the studio bedroom, and it needs them; and there were various intrusive flashing green lights on fire alarms in the villa that we had to cover over with plasters at night! Also, it didn't even occur to me that we would have to pay to park at the hotel, given that it is not the town centre, but the parking charges are steep (however, there's free street parking outside, so we didn't have a problem parking - though that might be harder in peak busy periods). The kids' mini disco was lovely but our toddler was daunted by the "too loud!" music - it doesn't need to be quite that loud for little ones. :-)

Has everything you need to be comfortable. Great pool areas, rooms are well equipped and relatively comfy

Some of the senior staff/management aren’t the most welcoming. Manners were okay but sometimes they are rude in the way they look at you.

Everything about this resort was exceptional, the apartment was exceptional as was the breakfast a buffet that had everything, staff were amazing and location was perfect, as a family we cannot wait to return. I would highly recommend this resort😊😊😊

Two days of construction on the villa beside me wasn’t relaxing in the slightest. The smell of cannabis all over the villa from the neighbours wasn’t great either
