Refusal at restaurant as hotel guests.

The location is good. Thorn is a cute small town and the hotel is right in the centre.

I was refused in the restaurant of the hotel. I was in my room at the Hotel- restaurant Ville Blache and checked availability. There were tables available at 18:00. Instead of booking online it seemed nicer to just walk downstairs and communicate I would like to eat there at 18:00 o'clock, party of two. When I went downstairs the lady said that I couldn't eat there because her arm was hurting. Even though online was available. A lot of restaurants are closed on Wednesday, where should I eat then? The lady refused to book us and told us to try the next village. This was disappointing for the one night stay. We ate somewhere else in town but not the type of food we would have chosen in the first place.

Charming old building, friendly staff, good restaurant and beer.

Old building so obviously no A/C. Had to have the window open which was above a rowdy beer garden until midnight. Corridor doors slamming constantly.

Noisy floor. Heard an old woman keep screaming. And someone hitting the door at 2:30am. And in next morning, I find that electric is powered off.

Nicely located hotel. Since Thorn is such a small town, the hotel is pretty close to everywhere. Everything you need in the hotel is available, decent food and drinks in the first floor and a nice back porch to chill.

The property is in a lovely location, right by the big church. Staff was really friendly on check-in.

The room was really tiny, and you have to duck to get under the beam. Generally all the furniture is pretty old and run down, but the room price was really low, so worth it I guess.

Great location, in the thron town with lots of cyclists and tourists. The pancake next door has lots of good reviews.

The room was really too hot, no air conditioning, used an electric fan for one night but not very comfortable:(

Excellent location and very helpful staff.

The front of house staff were extremely helpful. One of them managed to book a taxi for me to attend the wedding while the was a music festival going on and taxis were otherwise scarce.

The room was a little too warm, but it is in a period property so would be difficult to fit air conditioning to such a building.

The staff, environment

The wifi was quite slow and it didn’t work after 3 at all. The bed sheets could have been changed after a few days and because we stayed for a while the price could have been better. When the sink got clogged we had to wait until the next day to get it sorted.

Don't book in this hotel - VERY BAD

They don't serve dinner when in the website says that the restaurant close at 22h00 and I was there to dinner at 21h00. Me and my boyfriend stay the night without eat. And the painting of the bathroom and the soap thing was failling apart. The recepcionist was not nice too. And they didn't refund me the night that I don't stay there. Very bad hotel.
