As mentioned in other reviews, the bathroom is indeed quite small.

I never had time to use the restaurant as our tour group provided all meals and local travel. But I would have liked to eat on the beautiful outside terrace looking over the canal. Location was excellent, within walking distance of everything in the beautiful town of Dokkum. Dokkum is a very friendly place, lots of history, culture, beauty.

The situation on the bank of a canal. OK continental breakfast, tasty dinner.
Check-in staff refused to accept my Master Card, and the restaurant staff later refused to accept any credit card, including Visa. When I refused to pay in cash, the bill was charged to my room- and paid with Visa on checking out. The hotel needs to sort out its policy and educate its staff.
