The apartment is well designed. Excellent kitchen. Quiet location. Free parking on site.
Not located on any map finder, i.e. Google Maps or Waze. I asked for GPS co-ordinates 6 hours before my arrival, and never heard back. Owner speaks no English, and after a long time driving up and down the road on their address, I eventually found a pizza van, where the chef spoke French and English and was able to speak with the owner and direct me. Otherwise I never would have found the place.
There is ZERO wi-fi. I complained and was told that it had never been an issue before. So I told her that I needed wi-fi and would be leaving after two nights of my four night booking. All of our communication was on "Speak and Translate" ( highly recommended) so I have a hard copy. She promised me a refund for the two nights, but then decided to break her word. No integrity.
The bedroom has no AC. If you stay here in summer, which can get extremely hot, I doubt you'll have a good night's sleep. We were on Corsica 2 years ago in the summer and the heat was excessive, and I live in Thailand. After 40 hours or so she brought me a newly purchased wi-fi repeater, which helped slightly. In doing so she acknowledged the wi-fi problem, which she had denied existed.
There is a very large back yard, just not private as her house overlooks it directly. The raised swimming pool has not been cleaned recently and is decidedly scummy.
I would not suggest walking around the neighborhood.
No foreign language TV stations.
