Ideally located 2 minutes from the Moulin Rouge, between Montmartre and Opera. Spacious apartment on the 5th floor, very quiet and very bright, in a dynamic and trendy area (restaurants and bars)

Spacious apartment (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom) on the 5th floor, very bright (facing south) and quiet (overlooking courtyard). Nice view of the roofs of Paris.
Close to Montmartre, department stores (Galeries Lafayette etc ....), the Opera, the Louvre, the quays of Seine, Les Halles ....
Ideally located to do everything on foot, by bike (bicycles of the city of Paris in the street) by scooters (everywhere in Paris) and by public transport (bus and subway nearby, going in all directions)

We had a great stay at Marie-Jo’s awesome and artsy apartment. It was very comfortable and spacious; we loved the big kitchen and the fact that there was an elevator in the building was a huge plus! The area was very convenient with a metro station close by! Would definitely book this apartment again.

We had the most amazing stay at Marijo’s apartment! The apartment is beautiful and full of her art which makes it a very unique stay. The rooms are comfortable and decorated very well. Each room has everything that you need - comfy beds, closets, great common areas to hang out and separate bathroom from toilet. There is no AC but the windows create a great breeze if it hot outside. There is also a lift which was great for our luggage. Marijo and her associate Michel were so responsive and took great care of us. Michel met us there and gave us a tour and explained everything which was great. The location is absolutely amazing - you are walking distance from the Sacre Couer and the really cute neighborhood surrounding it. There are great restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries on every block. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!!

We loved our stay at Marie Jo’s place! The apartment was fantastic. Beautifully decorated. Marie Jo was an extremely gracious and welcoming host. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Marie Jo!!!

Beautiful apartment stuffed full of quirky art created by the super-friendly and helpful host. Lovely area with fun bars and shops two minutes from the Moulin Rouge on the border between Pigalle and Montmartre. We had a lovely stay.
The only things that could have been better: (a) the second double bed is a bit small; (b) like most Parisian houses there is no air-conditioning so it got a bit warm at times in the August heat; (c) whilst totally not the host’s fault, we were without an elevator for a few days after it broke down and it is quite a long walk up to the fifth floor.
Overall, though, it was still a great experience and we would certainly consider going back.
