Old house, 70km from Paris to the south by the highway and 100m from the forest garden courtyard and double walled garden of 2000m2 for parents barbecues and children's swing. Two living rooms with fireplaces. Large tables for meals inside in winter and outside in the summer under the awning. One room is on the ground floor, the other upstairs. Television, music, books for all ages. We visited for 1 week, as a base for bouldering. 3 x couples, each with 2 small children (aged 1-5). We had a lovely stay - the house was ideal for our needs. In particular, the gardens are large and secure and lovely, and the kids room (2 x bunk beds) was great and the toys kept them amused. Plenty of space for parking, eating inside/outside, and relaxing. Boulangerie within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

We spent 5 days at the house in Villiers-sous-Grez with my family and parents and had a delightful time there! The house is great and beautifully decorated, the garden is wonderful, and the area is just a gem! There are great walks to do in the forest nearby, including near the rocks, the villages are beautiful, and the people around are very friendly. My toddler also loved the toys and books in the small bedroom. We will definitely return there soon!

We were a large family group - 8 adults and 4 children and this large beautiful old farmhouse offered all the space inside and a large garden. Peaceful location with lots to do a short car ride away. We were there in the heatwave and the outdoor pool close by was a big hit. All in all a fun week in a lovely old farmhouse. Thank you Sylvie.

We were 12 persons (10 adults and 2 kids) and stayed in the house for 5 nights. Fireplace, modern kitchen, barbeque in the evenings, and nice French wine. We loved it, comes highly recommended.

Our third annual stay in this wonderful house, which we now regard as our home from home! We appreciated the new kitchen, especially the cooker. A little rain this year, so we used the garden a bit less, but we were still able to climb every day. The run/walk to the Elephant along GR13 is also glorious. For the second time we enjoyed a glorious week in this beautiful characterful old house. Both house and garden are spacious and comfortable. Boulangerie in village a great asset. We were lucky to have sunny weather every day and spent each day climbing in the forest.

A charming spacious comfortable house of character with beautiful gardens in a lovely village. We were 7 adults and 5 children, and we spent a glorious week here. Clean and well-equipped with many 'extras'. Superb location for bouldering. We've stayed in Fontainebleau many times and this is the best place we've found. We can't wait to be back!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely country home in Villiers sous Grez. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 adults and 4 kids. The house is well arranged for large groups with nice gathering areas for dinner and games as well as some out of the way spaces for privacy our quiet. The gardens are extensive with both a courtyard (shown in the picture) as well as two back gardens with grapes and fruit trees. The house is within easy bicycling distance of climbing at L'Elephant and a quick drive to many other locations at Bleau. Highly recommended!

Très agréable séjour dans cette belle maison aux dimensions généreuses. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la très belle pièce principale chauffée par une majestueuse cheminée et la salle à manger, elle même dotée d'une autre cheminée. Idéal pour se retrouver entres amis ou en famille avec de belles ballades dans la forêt toute proche. Les propriétaires sont très accueillant.
