About this cottage rental
Springview Retreat is in a class of its own. Situated on a 15 acre property that used to be part of a much larger dairy farm. The original "Springview" farm house is about 100 meters from the cottage. Private access and tasteful furnishings, you won't have to leave your comfortable king size bed (with luxurious linen) to enjoy the sweeping views of the Barrengarry escarpment.
Leave the blinds in the bathroom open, the cattle will be your only curious visitors.
If you have a clear night we guarantee an unforgettable evening lying on the large deck gazing at the night sky full of stars.
Only 7 minutes from the picturesque Kangaroo Valley village that offers a selection of quaint shops and good restaurants. For those a little more adventurous we recommend a trip in a canoe down the river. There are also some fabulous bush walks in, and around the valley. You can also explore the area by car to view the cliffs, waterfalls and rivers.
Fully self contained, you can curl up on the sofa for your whole stay with a book, or explore the many local attractions. We hope you will create wonderful memories in our little piece of paradise. Happy to help in any way we can!
Wood is supplied for the fireplace during the winter months.

Celebrated 30th Wedding anniversary with 5 nights in this perfect little cottage. We had the best time and was even better than we could imagine when booking. Karen the host communicated brilliantly, the position outlook and view is to die for, so peaceful and quiet you get the feeling you are miles from anywhere. You still have ultimate privacy even though the hosts property is 100m away. The fire was fantastic the marshmallows were a nice touch, the bath with the view of the escarpment rolling fields, wildlife and cattle was so relaxing, the huge bed was so comfortable we both slept peacefully during the whole stay. Although we were out and about exploring both the Valley and southern Highlands most days we stayed in one day and just enjoyed the cottage. Each day we utilised the the large deck where we exercised, meditated and watched the milky way on the clear nights. We even brought our own hammock with frame that fits on there comfortably. We did not need to eat out much as the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own healthy meals. This cottage would be suitable for those just wanting to have peace and quiet, recharge and not even need to leave. We cant fault this little getaway. This is actually better once you arrive as although there are some lovely website photos this place certainly overdelivered. From the wonderfully accommodating host, the location and outlook, comfortable modern cottage with all creature comforts it truly is a top place for a stay.

Was so much better than we expected! I booked Springview Retreat as a mini honeymoon surprise for my new bride, and she absolutely loved it. Karen, the host, was amazing—she went out of her way to accommodate our late-evening(9:00pm) arrival, which made everything so easy for us.When we arrived, the place was spotless, comfortable, and felt instantly welcoming. Karen had thought of everything and made sure we had everything we needed. Waking up to those views was unbelievable—easily one of the highlights of our stay.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back.

My partner and I stayed at Springview Retreat for two nights and couldn’t fault it. From the moment we arrived, Karen was incredibly welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more special.The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented, and felt so warm and homely. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views were absolutely incredible, and the peaceful surroundings made it such a serene place to unwind and switch off.If you’re looking for a quiet escape in Kangaroo Valley with wonderful hosts and a stunning view, I would highly recommend Springview Retreat. We will definitely be coming back!!
