About this cottage rental
Springview Retreat is in a class of its own. Situated on a 15 acre property that used to be part of a much larger dairy farm. The original "Springview" farm house is about 100 meters from the cottage. Private access and tasteful furnishings, you won't have to leave your comfortable king size bed (with luxurious linen) to enjoy the sweeping views of the Barrengarry escarpment.
Leave the blinds in the bathroom open, the cattle will be your only curious visitors.
If you have a clear night we guarantee an unforgettable evening lying on the large deck gazing at the night sky full of stars.
Only 7 minutes from the picturesque Kangaroo Valley village that offers a selection of quaint shops and good restaurants. For those a little more adventurous we recommend a trip in a canoe down the river. There are also some fabulous bush walks in, and around the valley. You can also explore the area by car to view the cliffs, waterfalls and rivers.
Fully self contained, you can curl up on the sofa for your whole stay with a book, or explore the many local attractions. We hope you will create wonderful memories in our little piece of paradise. Happy to help in any way we can!
Wood is supplied for the fireplace during the winter months.

If home is where the heart is, then Springview Retreat is my home away from home - filled to the brim with heart shaped goodness. The cottage is well designed to capture your heart with the wonderful views of the valley, paddocks and sandstone escarpments, the grazing, curious and citrus loving cattle, the bird life and kangaroos. The morning bath routine where you feel as if you are perched in the verdant outdoors. The evening ritual of lighting the fire and settling in for evenings of music and frivolity. Come here for peace, stillness and rest. It could be your home as well. Thank you Karen for your kind and helpful ways and sharing such a beautiful, exceptionally comfortable space. My wife and I can do nothing but highly recommend Springview Retreat for your next getaway. If tranquility in a serene setting with absolutely mesmerising views, an extremely well fitted and comfortable cosy cottage are what you’re after, then this is the place to be. In addition to this, Karen is a superb host. We stopped on arrival, switched our car off and didn’t start it again until we left two days later - we simply relaxed. Will definitely like to spend time here again at some point e stage. Thanks so much Karen!
