Welcome to "Villa Brisa Oceano". Villa Brisa Oceano is a private and spacious newly constructed 3BR/2BA contemporary villa, with large pool, A/C , panoramic ocean views, and amazing sunsets! Perfect for families and couples. Close to Dominical's conveniences, but high enough for a lovely brisa! (breeze)
**The property is located above the town of Dominical Costa Rica. Dominical is about a 3.5 hour drive from the international airport in San Jose.**
**We recommend staying your first night in San Jose when you arrive, and drive down the next morning. If your flight lands after 12pm, it will be difficult to reach the home before dark**
**A 4x4 vehicle is necessary to reach the villa**

**A 4x4 vehicle is required for your stay. Our community roads are well maintained and easy to navigate, but they are dirt roads, and some parts are steep.
This villa is located in Lagunas de Baru where the mountains meet the sea, overlooking stunning views of Pacific Ocean, valleys, mountains, and jungle. Many first-time visitors to the area don't realize that beachfront property here is very hot and humid, but up here it can be ten degrees cooler with wonderful breezes coming in off the ocean, yet only a 15-minute drive to the surfer town of Playa Dominical and the deserted beaches of Guapil and Hatillo.
Beautifully furnished the villa provides you with a very comfortable base while exploring all the wonders of the Southern Pacific Zone. If the cooling ocean breezes don't keep you quite cool enough, please note the house is equipped with air conditioning in all bedrooms. Lighting is placed on dimmers, wireless Internet is provided, and you can also enjoy a large wall mounted tv with Netflix.
Bedrooms are furnished with king and queen beds, and will be prepared by our crew with deluxe bed linens. Bathrooms are modern and furnished with deluxe bath linens. Beach towels, pool toys, and a cooler are provided for your days at the beach.
Enjoy the outdoor living of Costa Rica while relaxing in the loungers around the pool, as the mountains provide a gentle breeze. The pool is only steps away from the living room. Margaritas made with freshly-picked limes are a great way to enjoy sunsets over the ocean while relaxing on the veranda. You'll soon find yourself scouring the reference books provided to identify butterflies, hummingbirds, toucans, and numerous exotic birds and wildlife that visit the Costa Ballena area. And before long you'll be using one of the favorite expressions of the Ticos (Costa Ricans)...PURA VIDA!

Guest will have full access to the entire property. No other guests or homeowners will be on site during your stay.
Other things to note:
The pleasant town of Dominical is relatively small but offers the beach-lover a wide variety of nearby beaches to choose from. Playa Dominicalito is just south of Dominical and is a great spot for beginner surfers and swimmers. At Punta Dominical, on the southern end of Playa Dominicalito, you'll see the lush green land merge with the rich blue Ocean. It is a great spot to watch the ocean's waves crash onto the rocky shore below and see a near perfect sunset almost year round. Other activities include treks to nearby waterfalls including the Nauyaca Waterfalls (7.5 mi from Dominical on Hwy 243), canopy tours, horseback riding, deep sea fishing, sea kayaking, scuba diving and snorkeling.
** Please be aware that check in is no later than 6pm. If your flight lands after 12:30pm then we advise against trying to get to us the same day you fly in. We are 3.5-4 hours from San Jose. You need to also allow for an hour at customs and immigration, and an hour at the car rental agency, making for a long day. It does get dark at 6pm, and if it is your first time to Costa Rica it’s best to drive in daylight hours only. Our stay at Brisa Oceano was great! Will was very helpful and responsive and his house was exactly as pictured. The location and views were beautiful. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone we know traveling to the area.

We spent four wonderful weeks in this spacious and comfortable home which is even nicer than it looked to be in the listing. The home is nicely decorated and comfortably furnished and has ceiling fans in all rooms which kept the house cool and there was no need for us to use the a/c. The views from the property and the sunsets were amazing. The large covered front patio provides shade all day and the poolside patio was another comfortable outdoor space with sun umbrella available. Will, the owner, was available whenever we had questions and we enjoyed getting to know him. Thank you Will for sharing your lovely home with us.

In general we were very well impressed with this property. The fact that everything was on one level was ideal for my disabled wife. The one disappointment in this respect was that (despite our having asked if something could have been done) there was no handrail beside the steps into the pool, which made it impossible for her to use it. This is a basic safety matter which most of us (disabled of not) find helpful as we get older. These rails are easily available and most can be fairly simply fitted with all fixings at the side of the pool above the water level. In all other ways we were very happy with the house and loved the way there was sun from early morning (when it is not too hot) right up to the lovely sunsets over the ocean.
