Few maintenance issues - oven did not work even after using the trouble shooting guide. Shower drain blocked causing shower to overflow

the outdoor shower was not great

location was great. easy to walk into town. I would have liked the beach to be even closer

I enjoyed the tropical gardens surrounding the Villa

The traffic outside the Villa on Shirley Street was too busy for my liking although it was conveniently located to shopping & restaurants in Byron Bay. There is a flight of stairs leading up from the carpark plus another inside the apartment. If you have any mobility issues it's a mission climbing all the stairs. Also the Villa had very little morning or afternoon sunlight to warm the rooms. We chose not to use the air conditioning in preference of the small fan heater which heated the downstairs area to a pleasant temperature. The 2nd small fan heater upstairs was malfunctioning so we couldn't use it. On the 1st night I had to search for the TV remote which was down between the cushions of the lounge. My final dislike was the linen bedsheets in the main bedroom which I found somewhat irritating to sleep under.
