The location, the walks, the isolation, the wildlife.
No wi-fi, garden was not weeded and lawn was not cut.

Everything was amazing. Place was so clean and had everything we needed. The peace and quiet was exactly what we were looking for and needed. Wolsingham village was within ten minutes away and plenty of walks to be done. Even had a day out at the Lakes.
There was nothing we didn't like, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.

Amazing location - literally in the middle of nowhere! access to Hamsterley Forrest over the hills. Lots of wildlife including a beautiful white barn owl.
Comfortable accommodation - decent bed, plenty of towels and extra linen. could sleep more than 6 with the extra mattress and sofa bed.
Board games and DVDs
Probably due a lick of paint this summer and some tiles by the kitchen sink
