How quiet and peaceful it was

There was no instructions in the accommodation, for example it would have been useful to have an information pack how to operate things wifi password etc.luckily didn't need heating or anything but did have to msg the host for the password.

A great house as a base for a short break to Alton Towers.

The location for travel to Alton Towers. It was very spacious for our three boys. Very clean and comfortable.

Beautiful cottage with wonderful views

A beautiful cottage with the most amazing views. We'll laid out with everything you could need for a family stay. Really well done with exposed brickwork and quality fixtures and fittings and 3 TVs. Lovely comfy beds and plenty of towels. Good living space and a great sized bathroom. Bonus having lambs all around us and only 20 minutes from Alton Towers. Wonderful countryside setting. Highly recommended.

One of the beds in the twin room was really squeaky, which interrupted sleep for one child, so could do with a look at/replace.

Just an incredible relaxing location and such a beautiful accommodation. Plenty to explore nearby as well as on the grounds themselves. Loved the horses, chickens and dog too!

Exceptional

Don't use the postcode to find the place, took us ages to find. Staff couldn't be any nicer, car broke down and had to leave it there, while it got recovered, staff couldn't have been anymore help! Lovely people.

Beautiful base for a few days in the area

Everything with the property was excellent. From the owners, to the beautiful surroundings and from the spacious rooms to the spotlessly clean house and hardware. Great location for an Alton Towers break

Beautiful, peaceful few days in lovely, well managed accommodation :)

This was a beautiful find, in a stunning area, the accommodation was very clean and surprisingly spacious for the 5 of us. 3 lovely bedrooms, one twin and two doubles. One double and the bathroom (shower over the bath) were on the ground level so this was useful for the elderly gent in our group! The other bedrooms were up a few steps. Fantastic views and the well maintained grounds were lovely for an evening wander. Well equipped kitchen, also really clean. Lovely gesture of tea bags and biscuits on arrival - a pint of milk would have been a useful addition though! There were 2 garden benches outside with others dotted around the gardens. A really lovely place to sit and take in the view and the wildlife. Parking was easy in a shared area beside the property, the owner came out to meet us on arrival and showed us into the property, so key collection was very easy. We loved our short stay at Upper Greenhills Farm and hope to return.

Nothing to dislike but the drive was pretty rough in places.

Excellent stay

Location was absolutely brilliant with excellent views from the lounge area. we sat everyday in the morning next to the window and admired the hills and grass lands. Cottage was really clean and nice. Hot water was brilliant. Heating was absolutely excellent, had to turn down down the heating it was that good.

Internet & mobile signal could of been faster and more reliable.

Fantastic stay in a gorgeous cottage, with Alton Towers very close by!

Beautiful cottage, and in a lovely rural setting. An ideal location for visiting Alton Towers (just a ten minute drive away).

Remember to follow the directions to find the place, as the sat nav initially had us in the wrong location!
