Pennylands Hill View Lodge

Easy stroll into town, great position! Lovely view from the veranda - spent the early mornings and evenings watching the deer, woodpeckers, and other wildlife in the field/garden. The hosts (Judi and Glen) were super friendly and gave us plenty of helpful local knowledge plus a very nice welcome pack. We definately intend to come back!

Comfortable, clean and spacious lodge in a convenient location within short walking distance to town, shops and restaurants. Nice outdoor views from the living room, we managed to see animals such as rabbits, fox and deer wondering by the field during our 4 nights stay. Homely stay with well-equipped kitchen for everything you need. Responsive and friendly hosts Glen and Judi who provided very detailed information on how to check in and promptly replied to our enquiries and requests on parking two cars.

The hosts Judi and Glen welcomed us on arrival. The lodge is very well equipped and the extra touch of a pint of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits was appreciated after a long journey. We enjoyed the uninterrupted views over fields and hills,it is so peaceful and enjoyable sitting on the deck.
