De accomodatie ligt in een rustige landelijke omgeving met uitzicht op Limousin koeien. Vanaf de locatie zijn er genoeg leuke uitstapjes te maken (vergeet Cascade de Bialet niet!). Er zijn verschillende supermarkten in de omgeving en de gîte is uitgerust met voldoende keuken benodigdheden.
Helaas komen de foto's op Booking.com niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Er staat nu een hek om het zwembad. Het terrein staat verder vol met onkruid (tussen het gras, het grind en ook tussen de tegels op het terras bij onze gîte en bij het zwembad). Verder staat er veel plastic decoratie: totaal niet de sfeer zoals de foto's op Booking.com uitstralen. Daarnaast heeft er een aantal dagen een dierlijk uitwerpsel op de tegels bij de ligbedjes gelegen (totdat de regen het wegspoelde). Ook lag er een aantal dagen een dode kikker op de bodem van het zwembad. Niet heel hygiënisch.
