Villa Alice

- Friendly host who speaks English - Swimming pool is fabulous 👌🏻 - Well-equipped little house with mosquito nets

- Electrics aren't great, light flickers when multiple appliances are turned on simultaneously - Shower was awful, turns from hot to ice cold all of a sudden, then need to turn it off and back on again and wait for it to heat up - Jacuzzi was empty on arrival so had to fill it ourselves which is fine but takes hours to warm up so was a bit of a time waster

We loved our stay so much. Villa is in beautiful location, incredible sea view with picturesque sunsets. Pool is very refreshing, we made the most out of it. House is well equipped, we dint miss anything. Ludovico is the best host ever, extremely helpful, friendly and accessible. Highly recommended stay!

one little suggestion: investment in better mattress in main bedroom (not spring mattress). Sleeping on springs is not very comfortable for middle age body anymore :D

A solitude and calm yet a great location on the north coast of Sicily with an awesome view where we stayed with 4 people for a week. The outside area of the villa with the pool, whirlpool and terrace are just amazing to relax and enjoy the great weather and stunning nature. Perfect for two and also four people. Around the villa there is not much except nature so you get a feeling of peaceful solitude. On the other side you can reach the next small town with restaurants (pizza is highly recommended at rossodivino!) and supermarkets within 15 minutes by car. The landlord was just lovely! He waited a long time for our arrival, introduced us to the villa and explained everything thoroughly. Also, he gave a lot of super helpful tips and info about the area, sightseeing spots and great beaches around. At any time, he was available and always helped us with every question and problem quickly and incredibly friendly. Be aware that with a very low car your won't be able to reach the villa without damage as the last part of the road is not in a very good state. We had a Fiat 500X as a rental car with was failry good to get up the street.

The view from the veranda is absolutley stunning, we had the most gorgeous sunsets almost every night during our 9-days stay. The house is lovely, clean and comfertable. The pool is great and so much bigger than what the pictures show. We went to both Santo Stefano di Camastra and to Cefalú for nice dinners which I really recommend! Santo Stefano di Camastra is smaller an quiter than Cefalú, it was nice to visit both. We also drove to Marinello just by the town Oliveri, wich was was absolutley beautyful! I would totally recommend this house to anyone, and the host Ludovico is great and so kind and helpful!
