I under estimated the “gravel road to the cabin”. It was single lane gravel road with blind turns and hills. Luckily we saw more deer than people, it was still unnerving meeting someone on a turn coming at you head on. The cabin itself was cute and as described. The only complaint was the carpet that made it smell very musty. But for the short time we were there, we could handle it. The extra amenities were a nice touch! A rock wash and a community washer/dryer set up were well used during our stay. The river was a quick hike down the front yard. Our kids had so much fun fishing, swimming and exploring the river banks.

Beautiful spot on the river, I enjoyed my time as always.

The cabin is rustic. 11miles (gravel road) from the main road. Its a ggod location to go to different crystal mines or just to stay and fish. We loved getting up and i had my coffee listening to the river. They have a crystal washing rack to clean your treasures. We saw deer everyday. Caught bluegill and a catfish (catch and release) overall its was a very peaceful stay. If your look for 5 star accommodation this is not your place. If you want a rustic beautiful place to enjoy nature then this is your place!

Beautiful property off in the woods. Access to Ouachita River for swimming and fishing. Boys loved it! Its pretty far off from town, but the owners home is located on the property so youre not all alone. The owner was helpful and friendly. Only set back is no cell signal but thats probably good for you anyways! Great place!

Sitting on the back porch looking over the river and listening to the birds was lovely. We saw a bald eagle pair swoop through!
