The West is one of the best rental property locations in Steamboat, right across the street from base area/Gondola Transit Center. This comfy studio was beautifully updated and features a great Murphy bed, comfortable seating on a sofa and really cute kitchen with bar stool seating. Lay in bed or sit back and relax on the sofa and take in the slope views or watch a show or movie on the large flat screen TV. Off of the living area is the updated kitchen, featuring gorgeous countertops, beautiful stainless appliances, wood cabinetry and two counter bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking a meal. This unit has plenty of hanging storage, as well as drawers, for all of your stuff. The full bathroom is also right off of that area. There is coin operated laundry in the building.
Enjoy the community pool, hot tub, grills and clubhouse right outside of your unit.
Free parking and bike racks outside the building. RVs, campers, trailers, etc are not allowed to be parked in the parking lot or street per the neighborhood HOA.
During the summer, you are across the street with access to the beach, biking and hiking trails, the roller coaster and other activities at the base of the mtn.
Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Had a great stay. Location was really nice with a beautiful view. Only slight annoyance was a bit of a noisy refrigerator, but not the end of the world. Would recommend to any travelers with a party of 1-2.

This was a beautiful property for a long weekend in Steamboat Springs. It is a short walk to one of the resort gondolas (without ski boots). Host was incredibly responsive and timely. Thank you for a great stay!

Clean place, good location. Well furnished. Bar stools are sub par...very lightweight and tippy. Everything else is very positive. Enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you!

I picked this place because of the location. We just had to walk down hill for 5 min to get to the resort to ski and food or to catch a bus to downtown. My teenager enjoyed the hot tub. We had a great time first time visiting Steamboat
