Decent for sleeping and not much else

Stunning view, calm environment, nice host, and good storage options as well as sitting areas (but the best view from the pictures is apparently reserved for another room). Air conditioning worked great, and there are supermarkets and bakeries close by

We assumed the cooler next to the closet was a fridge, but any liquid got freezed into solid ice when put inside. We also thought there would be turtles and a common kitchen area based on other reviews, but we only had a cup and a teaspoon - couldn’t even buy a watermelon and cut it due to not having a knife! I wish that was stated more clearly, so the reviews for the other nicer apartments weren’t there for our room with less amenities…

Large apartment with awesome private yard

Large apartment with a terrace and an awesome big private yard. Separate bedroom and large living room with fully equipped kitchen. Many turtles lived on their own terrace in the yard. 20 min walk to the old town. The Wi-fi password didn't work but the host was responsive and it got solved. It was a quiet place near the pine forest and we enjoyed being on the terrace very much.

The bathroom floor was wet all the time and did not dry out and there was no equipment to dry the floor. We also missed the sweeping brush because no cleaning was done in 4 days. We spotted a very large snake in the yard but it was afraid of us :)

Lovely room with amazing views

very friendly on arrival easy to collect keys, the family were so friendly and made us feel very welcome they were always very helpful with any questions. The view from the balcony was amazing.

very good apartment for couple stay. it is separated from owners house, so we did not bother anyone. owners were very polite and answered all additional questions we had during our stay 👍🏻

Awfully dirty walls and mildew

The only positive apsect of this place is its location. It takes around 30 min. to get to the old town.

The apartment is very old. The pictures shown on booking are probably from many years ago and the place needs RENOVATION. There are a lot of broken items. The walls are awfully dirty. There is MILDEW on the ceiling and insects in the room. Additionaly you do not have contact with a host, because everything is organised by direct booking, which means that you contact them first and wait for the answer. I sent a message and never got a reply. Don't stay there because it will spoil your holiday.

Great value, not so great location.

Given the price of this property in comparison to others in Dubrovnik it's fantastic. There was A/C in the living room/kitchen, and the washing machine was great for the many trips we made to the beach. The rental company you communicate to the host through was highly responsive. Having the terrace for evening drinks was also wonderful.

The location wasn't great. We thought the 2 beaches would be much closer (10 minute walking distance) but Lapad beach was 25 minutes away, roughly the same distance to the Old Town. There also isn't much available closeby, so you have to do a bit of walking to get to any good restaurants/supermarkets. There was A/C in only one of the rooms, meaning those in the double bedroom had none and visiting during a heatwave in August made it difficult to sleep.

Very nice view (although you share the balcony with another room), bed was comfortable. Cute tortoises in the yard. Price was reasonable compared to other places in area.

Far from old town (30 minute walk), wifi did not work. Not any restaurants around.

Highly recommend

The room had a beautiful view of Dubrovnik. The garden was full of fragrant flowers, beautiful stone patios, and friendly turtles. Our host was quite friendly, but tended to leave us to our privacy. The room was clean, with good lighting, and plenty of storage. There was even a bowl of chocolate in our room when we arrived. Definitely one of the best stays I've ever had for such a reasonable price.

A beautiful house with a large green garden. In the garden, in a separate place, there lives a large family of turtles. The room has a huge balcony with a wonderful view of the hills and the sea. Something beautiful. The owners were very friendly and helpful, showing you how to get around Dubrovnik, not to lose a huge amount of money.Great location 3 km from the old town, which ensures peace, relaxation and silence. There is a park within 100 meters.

Apartamento muy cómodo y amplio. Bien equipado. El living comedor muy cómodo. Tiene una terraza exterior con sillones y mesa muy cómodos. El baño estaba bien equipado. Buena localización a 35 minutos de la estación de bus caminando y también a 35 minutos caminando de la Pile Gate. Dubrovnik tiene muchos desniveles, con lo cual hay muchas escaleraa por toda la ciudad.

La cama era blanda y las almohadas demasiado altas para nuestro gusto. No tiene horno. El bañito no tiene un desnivel para contener el agua mientras te duchas. Para llegar al departamento hay que subir unos 40 escalones.

Sehr schlecht!

Lage

Wir haben ein Zimmer in diesen Apartments aufgrund der Bewertungen und Sterne gebucht – aber das muss sich wohl auf die anderen Wohnungen beziehen, denn das Dreibettzimmer, das wir bekommen haben, war wirklich schlecht. Ganz ehrlich: Das Zimmer hatte NICHTS mit den Fotos auf Booking zu tun. Anstatt eines Zimmers im Erdgeschoss (wie gebucht), mussten wir über viele Treppenstufen nach oben, um überhaupt zum Zimmer zu gelangen. Mit meiner 72-jährigen Mutter war das natürlich absolut unpassend und nicht geplant. Die Wohnung war schmutzig, auch das Badezimmer. Mein Bettbezug hatte kleine Löcher und mein „Handtuch“ war eigentlich eine Badematte, wie man sie vor die Dusche legt. Im Wohnzimmer, wo die dritte Person schlafen sollte, gab es keine Gardinen oder sonstigen Sichtschutz – das heißt, jemand, der lichtempfindlich ist, wird spätestens um 6:00 Uhr morgens wach. Auch ein kleiner Tisch, wie man ihn normalerweise im Wohnzimmer erwartet, fehlte. (Auf der Nachfrage bei der alte Dame, die uns im Empfang genommen hat, haben wir einen Tisch aus Plastik hingestellt bekommen) Im kleinen Kühlschrank war ein Gefrierfach, das man jedoch nicht nutzen konnte, weil die Tür fehlte. Bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur wäre es wirklich angenehm gewesen, ein paar Eiswürfel zu haben. Das Badezimmer war drecking und man konnte sich schlecht duschen. Das Wasser kam extrem heiss raus und wenn man auf kaltes Wasser gedreht hat, kam nur eine sehr dünne Linie raus. Haben zwar die Therma runter gedreht, hat aber nicht geholfen. Und der Fernseher im Schlafzimmer? Der hätte meiner Meinung nach eher ins Wohnzimmer gehört – aber gut, das war noch das kleinste Problem. Wir haben oft Wohnungen gebucht wenn wir reisen und natürlich wird nicht immer genau wie auf dem Fotos aussehen, aber das war zu viel. Wir haben versucht dennoch unsere Urlaub zu geniessen aber diese Situation hat es schon etwas vermasselt. Letztendlich haben wir uns mit den Preis auch abgezockt gefühlt.

Cuisine : uniquement des plaques chauffantes qui, au bout d'une heure, ne faisaient toujours pas bouillir de l'eau. Aucun autre appareil de cuisson (micro onde, four ...), peu d'ustensiles (pas de passoires, seulement 3 petites cuillères, ...) Salle de bain : l'eau du lavabo et de la douche remonte régulièrement par l'évacuation au sol au milieu de la salle de bain Chambre : la télévision ne fonctionne pas Accès : nombreuses marches pour accéder au logement Chien de la résidence : il fait ses besoins contre l'angle de la porte d'entrée du logement

Les stores à ventouse des fenêtres ne tenaient pas, un meilleur système pour être dans le noir serait bienvenu Mais très bien et sejour super agréable

Sehr schöne Lage

Uns hat insbesondere die Lage überzeugt und war deshalb ein Hauptkreterium. Sowohl die Altstadt als auch der Naherholungspark in Lapad, waren fußläufig erreichbar. Das Appartement selbst, ausgestattet mit Küche und Waschmaschine hatte an Ausstattung, alles was man braucht. Eine besonders liebe Geste bekamen wir zu Ostern. Man gab uns gekochte Eier und süßliches Gebäck.

Die Kunststoffkissen waren uns persönlich zu dick bzw. zu prall gefüllt.
