Twenty is a recently finished pied a terre bursting with character offering a comfortable stay along with a romantic atmosphere for an unforgettable holiday in Malta.
Town house Twenty is located at Haz-Zebbug -right in the heart of Malta, making it the ideal place from where to savour all that Malta has to offer, be it history, culture, sun, sea or entertainment. Get away from it all, whether alone, or with your significant other... Go on, spoil yourself!
Town house Twenty consists of an airy and air-conditioned open plan living, dining and kitchen at ground floor, with a pretty small yard through which one can access a w/c. The living room features a comfy three seater, 32' LCD TV equipped with cable and a DVD player as well as internet.
The kitchen is equipped with all modern day appliances. The dining table seats four. The spiral staircase, itself a work of art, leads from the ground floor to the first floor where one finds a luxurious master suite featuring a king sized bed, stylish furnishings and fabrics. The master bedroom links to the en suite shower room, which features a larger than usual shower for more space and relaxation.
At second level there's another bedroom with double bed and ensuite facilities. This bedroom is air conditioned and enjoys a small terrace.

Haz- Zebbug is an old town which served as a city during the times of the Knights of St John and is in fact named Citta` de Rohan, after its founder Grand Master de Rohan. It is found in the center of Malta and its neighboring villages include Siggiewi, Attard and Rabat. Haz- Zebbug consists of an old village core characterized by narrow winding streets and an imposing church set in a large square, as well as more recent developments taking place on the outskirts of the village. The Parish Church is dedicated to Philip of Agira. The name of the town literally means "olives" in Maltese; it derives from the large olive groves that stood in and around the current location of the church and the center of the town. Haz-Zebbug is an ideal holiday base. Even though the village is not touristic in nature it is within easy reach of all the hotspots which one might like to visit. These include Rabat, which is only 3 km away. In Rabat one can visit Mdina, also known as the silent city and a true gem of Maltese architecture, art and history. In Rabat one might also like to visit the Roman Villa and St. Agatha’s Catacombs. For all those wishing to experience some of Malta’s most breath-taking views then Dingli cliffs is the place to head to and since Dingli village is on the west coast, one can also enjoy a sunset. Attard is 2 km away,here one can visit San Anton Gardens, which form part of the presidential palace.

The short let night rate is valid for up to 2 persons and includes 10 units (kilowatt/hours) of electricity consumption per day.
The weekly rate includes the first 70 units (kilowatt/hours) of electricity consumption per week. Any additional kilowatt/hours consumed over the 70 units will be charged at 25 euro cents.
The Long Let rate is valid for up to 2 persons and does not include water and electricity consumption and gas. The Long Let rate includes internet / WiFi and cable TV.

The Townhouse is given to the guest clean .The guest therefore undertakes to leave the townhouse clean and tidy..
The maximum number of persons booked is not to be exceeded,unless this is approved by the owner .
Children are not allowed on the balconies unattended.
Persons under 18 years must be accompanied by their parents.
Drugs are forbidden.
The short let night rate is valid for up to 4 persons and includes 10 units (kilowatt/hours) of electricity consumption per day.
The weekly rate is valid for 4 persons and includes the first 70 units (kilowatt/hours) of electricity consumption per week. Any additional kilowatt/hours consumed over the 70 units will be charged at 25 euro cents.
the monthly rate does not include water and electricity consumption.
Eco tax contribution :
To collected at check in €0.50c per person for each night, capped at €5 for stays over 10 nights.

Great place, exactly as advertised - perfect for a stay on Malta. Rita is a lovely host, making sure everything is just right. Her detailled information prior to arrival in particular was very helpful.
The house was clean and equipped with everything you might need.
You definitely need a car, even though parking can be an adventure ;) but the house's location makes it the perfect starting point for exploring the island.
There's (super)markets, bars etc in walking distance and if you're lucky you might even be able to watch some fireworks from the roof terrace :)
All in all, we would wholeheartedly recommend the townhouse.

A very spacious place with three floors and three spacious rooms. Each room equipped with AC, a bathroom, Internet, everything you need honestly. Every guest gets 2 big towels. Living room has a big TV, kitchen has a microwave and the oven, a big fridge, a dishwasher. There’s also a lovely balcony-like terrace on the second floor in addition to a rooftop terrace where you can spend your evenings. The apartment is spotless, clean and aesthetic, photos don't do it justice. The place is in the middle of a small city with the grocery shop 5 minutes by foot from your place, a superrmarket about 10-15mins, a bus stop 5 minutes from your place and it takes about 30 minutes by bus to get to Valletta and 20 minutes to the nearest beach (by bus, by car around 10min). There's also a pharmacy netx door. The town is very quiet!
At the beginning of your stay you get a lovely welcome bucket filled with bread, butter, everything you need to start your vacation. The landlord, Rita is very wholesome, helpful and resourceful, always tries to make things nice and fair. When we told her that we will be having a really late check-in (2AM) she went out of her way and installed a key box with security code next to the front door to ensure trouble-free entry for both parties.

Had a wonderful stay that lasted roughly 3 weeks.
Rita was a great host, greeted me on arrival from the airport at the townhouse, making sure i knew how everything worked and i had everything i needed. Gave some local advice and left some Maltese bread and cheese there, very nice touch.
I only had one problem with the townhouse the entire trip, and that was one of the AC units stopped working correctly, which she promptly called the repair place and scheduled for them to come out and fix.
Otherwise everything is as stated, Master bedroom on 2nd floor and a similar "non-master" bedroom above it. The groundfloor is the kitchen/living room. I'd say 4-5 people can comfortably stay there, Depends on the sleeping arrangements, but the place could fit 4-5 nicely. There was only two of us but we stayed for an extended period so the extra space was nice
Nicest part was when my flight back home got canceled and rebooked for 3 days later than planned (Yay for "post-covid" air travel), the townhouse happened to be unbooked for a few days after my stay and she allowed me to rent the extra days. Very appreciative of that fact, saved me alot of headache looking for a new place.
Overall i had a wonderful time, nice neighborhood and not too touristy which is exactly what i was looking for. Nice and quiet (unless there is a feast going on, which is fairly often)
I'll likely be back.
Note: Wouldn't recommend with a car, extremely hard to find a parking spot ( 50/50 chance depending on time of day/night) Even if you walk a decent ways you still might not find one since its street parking only. Fortunately, taxis are fairly inexpensive most of the time so it wasn't a huge issue, even given my extended stay.

This suite was a great fit for me. I really enjoyed staying in Zebugg. If you want an authentic Maltese experience, choose this suite.
Rita is amazing, and she will go above and beyond to help her guests. She had some food in the house when I arrived, which was great because I came in late.
The balcony is great in the evenings, the local community is wonderful, and the area is a good access point for the rest of Malta.
Please note that you will need to be able to climb up and down a narrow spiral staircase to access the suite.
I especially loved the art and decor in the suite. This suite is well suited for solo female travellers. It is a peaceful and safe vacation rental.
