Finalement pour une première expérience à presque 80 ans...dans un chalet façon camping...très belle expérience !!!!!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans un chalet mignon, cosy et parfaitement équipé, idéal pour se ressourcer. Dès notre arrivée, Katia nous a accueillis avec chaleur et bienveillance, prenant le temps de nous expliquer le fonctionnement du logement et de nous donner de précieux conseils pour profiter pleinement du Puy du Fou. Chaque matin, nous avons savouré un petit-déjeuner copieux et varié, agrémenté de délicieux gâteaux faits maison, différents chaque jour. Petite attention touchante : Katia préparait un sachet pour emporter ceux que nous n’avions pas pu finir. Un grand merci à Katia et Christian pour leur accueil attentionné, leur passion communicative et leur générosité. Nous repartons enchantés, avec l’envie de revenir très vite !

Nice location close to Puy du Fou park

Traveling with three kids and a dog, we felt very unwelcome by the hosts. Got scolded on our way for late arrival (20:30), the hostess did not even show up to welcome us (neither did she when we were leaving the place). The hosts agreed to keep our dog during the day of our visit of the Puy du Fou park for additional charge, but the space they proposed for this purpose was a windowless closed block with no access to the outside (unlike what was agreed). So when the dog started barking inside, we were told that they could not eventually keep her for the day. As no last minute solution could be found, one of us (our teenage son) had to stay in with the dog, his ticket to the park, the late night show and the dinner were not reimbursed. We got the feeling that, although the domaine positions itself as a place accepting dogs, those are not really wanted there. Although the place looked clean and the bedding was comfortable, the downstairs area reserved for breakfast smelled of cigarettes. No amount of homemade jams can replace human touch, a smile, and warm welcome. Will never return and never recommend this place for friends and family.
