Pine View Resort

The food was delicious, plentiful, and well-priced. We really enjoyed trying a few different dishes that we had not eaten previously. Breakfasts were served promptly and were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had some issues paying for our room with our international cards, and it took a few days to sort them out. The staff were patient and understanding while we worked through this. Thanks team! The location is close to the marketplace, which is quite handy. We were in Gulmarg to go skiing and snowboarding. The distance to the Gondola is a fair way. We did walk the first day, which was tricky in ski boots and negotiating the traffic. If you stay here and want to go to the Gondola, perhaps get a taxi but ensure you agree to a price before you get in. We did love the location, though as we felt like we were amongst the locals and felt the vibe of the place. And the view of the mountain is excellant from here!

The cleanliness of our room could be better. Cleaning under the beds and the bathroom could do with a little extra attention. It didn't detract from our stay, but it would have been nice to know that under the bed was clean and that the bathroom tiles were scrubbed.

Great stay , next to the market. Tanveer was really amazing host and helped us with everything.

The traffic in the snow is insane. Inexperienced drivers cause major traffic jams. Today, a vehicle went off the cliff due to sliding in the snow. 1km drop. Check youtube video.
