The house is located in the small medieval village of Monticchiello, within the imposing city walls. Immersed in the classic and enchanting landscapes of Tuscany with cypresses, gentle hills as far as the eye can see and winding white streets, to serve as background. The apartment has just been renovated (2019) and perfectly blends its historic soul with modern furnishings, giving the room personality and charm, the fireplace in the bedroom gives that extra touch of romance and warmth.
The best way to get around the area and the car, with which you can reach all the villages and areas of interest such as:
Montepulciano 10km
Pienza 10km
Montalcino 25km
Siena 60km
The Vald'Orcia also offers numerous routes on foot or by bicycle, both electric and muscular, which is perhaps the most green and engaging way to appreciate these landscapes

A wonderful quiet apartment with everything you need . Comfortable bed, good a/c, good shower, well equipped kitchen, lovely host. All uphill from the car park but that’s what you expect in a hilltop village. Excellent restaurants in the village. Not far from Pienza . And a washing machine and dryer!

An wonderfully presented apartment in a beautiful town away from the tourist areas but close enough with a short drive. It’s a beautiful town and the apartment is a welcome retreat when you have enjoyed enough of the Tuscan sun. It’s clear the owner has attention to detail and that made our stay even better!
