The beds

The location is outstanding- right in the center of Wageningen. They had air conditioning (thank goodness!!) during the heat wave. They came every day to service the room.

The mattress was too soft for me and the pillows were too tall. There was no landscaping at the front of the property… Just weeds were growing, it looked very sad and tired.

Perfect location, helpful staff. Entire city center easily reachable on foot ( and I don’t walk very well).

Extremely small rooms. No fridge in room. Restaurant not open on Sunday. Very expensive breakfast.

The location is very close to public transit and is in a very walkable but quiet area. The aesthetics were nice and we appreciated that it had character. The beds were comfortable and nothing in the room was broken. There were blackout and sheer curtains. The staff cleaned the rooms and halls everyday. There was a private bathroom and the twin beds could be separated or combined.

The bathroom fan didn't work, the toilet didn't flush properly and there were leftovers in it from the previous guest, the shower tiles were noticeably dirty. The housekeeping staff cleaned every day between 9:30-10:00 AM meaning we had to wake up extra early even when we had a day off. They also took one of our room keys and the personal towels of the person I was staying with despite them not looking similar to their own (which we never received back despite asking for a few days). Some desk staff were nice, others seemed as if they were very reluctant to talk to us. Overall amount we paid for the stay felt like too much for what the quality was. The location, discount, and comfort of the beds made the stay better.
