Apartment and location.

Prior information should have been provided before booking re cleaning and servicing of apartment. We paid a lot of money and expected basic service. Info was Included in hotel handout when arrival in room but we were unaware that basic needs were denied. No apartment cleaning. No change of bedding. Reception asking extra money for toilet paper and shower gels. Scandalous is one word for it. When I made my booking contact was excellent and friendly. After check in the welcome deteriorated to the point that when we asked questions at reception we were treated with rudeness bordering on hostility and a couldn't care less attitude. Even though we are Irish the whole family is fluent in Spanish but it made no difference. The elder gentleman on reception was very professional. Re your female reception staff I would recommend hiring new staff who's actually want to be there.

Location

I was very pleased with the location of the apartments. They are in a beautiful location and if I visit Tarragona again, I would happily stay there again. The cleanliness was of a high standard, and the apartment was adequately air-conditioned throughout our stay, which contributed to a pleasant and comfortable stay. The wardrobes were spacious enough to accommodate the entire family's wardrobe, leaving enough free space to move around the apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary elements and appliances, including a dishwasher, which significantly increased the comfort during our stay. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean and well-maintained upon our arrival. We also liked the part that our apartment was on the side of the street so every evening we had a fre music, violine, jazz, it was very pleasant. Overall, the apartment was comfortable, functional and pleasant for a family stay, and the positive aspects of the accommodation left a very good impression.

I was not satisfied with the fact that during our 6-night stay at the Lauria Apartments, no regular maintenance of the apartment was performed, i.e. no towels were replaced, no toilet paper and personal hygiene products were replenished. Considering the price we paid for the accommodation, I believe that such services should have been provided as part of the standard maintenance. Additionally, I did not like the way the deposit was organized. It was emphasized that the deposit could be retained if the guests did not remove the waste or leave the apartment in a proper condition. I believe that this approach leaves an unpleasant impression and implies distrust towards the guests. I believe that mutual respect and correct treatment imply responsible behavior on the part of the guests, without the need for communication that could be perceived as threatening. I believe that you have experiences with guests who behave inappropriately, but in the direction of mutual trust, I think that this should be the exception and not the rule. Wi fi connection was also very limited. Despite this, I believe these aspects deserve attention and improvement in order to provide a better experience for future guests.

Location was perfect. Check in was easy although it should be made more clear in the description of the room that a 300 euro deposit was required. Room was very comfortable and of a good size. Balcony was really nice. Air conditioning would not come on after we turned it off, this was quickly and efficiently dealt with for us by reception staff.

Not clear in description that a 300 euro deposit was required. Terrace furniture very tired and all cushions were ripped and scruffy. Charge if extra sheets needed. One dishwasher tablet, one sachet of washing up liquid. Nespresso machine provided with no pods they also were chargeable. Quite stingy with bathroom towels and charge if extra required.
