The property has a great view of Lake Hamilton and especially a clear view of the 4th of July fireworks over the lake. Family members joined in on the 4th for a good old fashioned food fest.

Overall everything was mostly good. We checked in Friday afternoon with no hassle. Unfortunately, we were without hot water Friday night, so we were unable to take hot showers on the cold evening and we had a little trouble getting the heater to come on, which would not have been a problem, if we could have used the fireplace (but there was a sign that said it was dangerous to use). After calling maintenance we were able to get heater working and hot water was restored Saturday morning. I have a bad back so bed and sofa were not comfortable. Otherwise, Condo was laid out perfectly and was clean. It had everything we needed.

Was not impressed with my stay at all. Directions to the condo are not 100% clear. There are some buildings with alphabetical numbering and others with just an “04”, etc. Once we were finally able to find our rooms & made our way down to the cabana/game room, we found out the hot tubs were out of service for “maintenance”. No one bothered to mention that to us beforehand, nor does it say on the doors to the hot tub area that it’s closed. That was a good 80% of why we booked where we did. Toilets in the condo did not flush well & would require you to repeat the process several times before it did anything. Shower in master bedroom does not have labels as to which is the hot/cold & has the old school knobs on the side of the tub to start the water. No laundry detergent in the condo & was not informed I would need to bring any if using the washer/dryer. Couch in the living room is extremely dirty. Locks in the living area that lead out to the observation deck are broken, so would not recommend staying with children. I’m sure there is more, but those are the immediate things we found.

My family enjoyed staying at this location due to having multiple pools and other amenities. I would say that they equipment in the game room should be updated since the paddles were falling apart but, the condo itself was great. We would definitely stay at this condo and South Shores again!

We had a great stay. Only had a few problems. Had to get help to turn the ice machine on the air conditioning clogged up and was running into the unit below and our air wasn’t working but it was promptly fixed had a little trouble with the washing machine coming on I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it started working. Could have used some Tupperware in the kitchen but otherwise it was well stocked. Both pools were nice but the hot tub was a little disappointing but the unit had a wonderful whir pool

We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed this location and condo unit. The kids enjoyed the pools and game room. They played ping-pong and pool for hours. This unit had a great deck and beautiful views of the lake. The unit is very spacious and clean.

Our family had the best time at South Shore Resort! We have three small children and it was the perfect place for us. The resort has plenty activities like mini golf and other games. The lake side pool was very nice and relaxing. The condo was clean, spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. There was a beautiful Lake view from the condo. Check in was easy. It was nice that the resort was gated and there was a security guard. We can’t wait to visit again!

Thanks for an excellent two night stay during our spring break road trip! The condo was perfect for our family of five. All of the amenities were as described. Pickle ball courts and mini golf helped relieve some pent up energy from the drive! We were there with our daughter’s family for a baseball tournament. The condo was perfection for all of us. We loved our view overlooking Lake Hamilton. The condo was exactly as shown, tastefully decorated and so comfortable. The mattresses made for a wonderful night’s sleep. Our two young teen grandsons kept themselves busy with the putt putt golf, pool table and ping pong. We would choose this place again in a heartbeat!

Very enjoyable experience for our family! Conveniently located, beautiful views. Only thing we weren’t a fan of was the cleaning policy. I’ve never had to strip the bedding and prepare it for the cleaning staff by placing in a pillow case, along with placing used towels in another pillow case, at any other vacation rental before. It makes one question if towels or linens not prepared for cleaning by previous guests had been cleaned before our arrival and kind of gave us the ick. Just seems like an odd thing to ask of vacationing guests, didn’t feel right! I can’t imagine stripping linens to be too much to expect from the cleaning staff. Odd cleaning rules aside, we truly enjoyed our stay.

This is our 3rd time staying at South Shores, all different condos, within the last 1.5 years. We love it here. The views are fantastic. While the complex/grounds are older, it is very well maintained. This is our 1st time staying on the timeshare side. We loved having access to the additional amenities such as the game room, movie library, tennis and basketball goals. The only downside is there were no lights outside for the grill area, basketball, tennis area so grilling at 5 pm was a challenge with just our phone flashlight - what your step as well. I spoke with the security guard who was very nice and he advised they have had issues with the lights for the past few years and are not operational. Even some solar lights would have been nice and safer. In the other units there were electrical grills on the patio which we would have really loved versus the charcoal grill in the dark but would definitely not stop us from staying again - we would bring flashlights. Booking agent was always quick to respond and appreciated the early check in notification.

Property is as described. Convenient to most attractions in Hot Springs. Quiet area. Steep hills though, so if mobility is a problem, may want to consider as a factor. Otherwise, we enjoyed ourselves!

Condo was great and filled with all the amenities we needed. Resort was fantastic with two great pools (one in full shade which was greatly appreciated during the 100 degree heat) plus a cabana with ping pong and outside Connect Four). Location was close to everything. And lakeview was incredible. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! Waking up to the view of the lake and pool from the balcony, playing table tennis, pool and basketball after sightseeing during the day, and enjoying a movie a night in the comfort of the living area made for lots of memories and fun!
