Saif Al Majd Hotel

The 5 bedroom is a regular room you’d expect. Not too spacious but not too tight. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the haram. It was a bit difficult to reach by car on the day of arrival due to road closures. The rooms were clean and we were given more towels and water whenever we asked for them

We asked for an iron and it took a while to receive. When we did receive it I used it once and left for the mosque. When I came back to the hotel room to use it again I found it had disappeared. My only guess was that the staff came into the room and took it because I was gone for a while. When I asked the front desk and told them that someone had been in my room and took my iron the lady said no it’s there just carry on looking for it as if I was in a mansion. The female staff can be a bit rude however everyone else was very respectful. The shower door also don’t close fully and when we told the hotel about someone came to check it and said it’s fine, therefore everytime we showered at the end there would be a pool of water all around the toilet.

Checking in was smooth.

Because it was on a hill side and have to walk is difficult on hill
