8 / 10Excellent·Jun 2026
My sister recently had a nasty fall. She found the uneven floors at Rowan Cottage quite challenging. Low reading light due to high ceilings created a bit of difficulty. Everything else was quite delightful. We appreciated all the provisions provided by the Hosts. The beds were. VERY. comfortable.

We have stayed in this charming little cottage on several occasions and, as always, everything was perfect. Close to everything, walkable to the arts precinct and the CBD, comfortable amenities and wonderful hosts. We look forward to returning !

Lovely cottage with a beautiful backyard and outdoor garden to enjoy. We stayed there for 3 nights and had the most wonderful sleep on very comfortable beds. My elderly parents were impressed with the warm welcome of breakfast provisions, fresh flowers and the delicious muffins. We highly recommend this beautiful cottage if you’re visiting Bendigo.
