Casa delle Stelle

La casa è pulita ed accogliente. Il panorama dal balconcino è eccezionale.

Posizione un poco faticosa da raggiungere dopo aver parcheggiato, ma tutto il paese è caraterizzato da forti salite e discese.

La casa era esattamente come mostrata nelle foto: molto accogliente, curata nei dettagli e con una splendida vista su Castelmezzano. La cucina era ben attrezzata e dotata di tutto il necessario, mentre lo stile degli ambienti richiama il calore e l'atmosfera tipica delle baite di montagna, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Il personale si è dimostrato estremamente cortese, disponibile e sempre pronto a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda o esigenza. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a tutti, soprattutto a chi desidera vivere la magia di Castelmezzano nelle ore serali, quando il paese illuminato regala un'atmosfera davvero unica e suggestiva.

The view is absolutely spectacular. At all hours. Neat space. Good hot water. 3 min walk (down) to coffee shop. Parking is about 5 min walk (try not to bring too many bags). The hikes in the area are fantastic. We just missed the timing of the Flight of the Angel zipline, the mountain roller coaster and the quad rentals (weekends only?). The hiking via ferrata (with harnesses, etc) looks amazing too.

The minimal staircase to access the mezzanine with the bed is not ideal; only a single plug on the side of the bed; the sofa had a broken arm and no cushions. Being February, only the restaurant from the single hotel in the village was open, so we used the kitchen facilities: we would have welcomed a second wine glass and mug (for breakfast) and in general few more bits in the kitchen (cloth tea towel to dry your hands, salad bowl, another frying pan, some items of cutlery,…) and hooks or shelves around the shower to put our toiletries.
