Belém River Apartment R/C

The host Miguel had excellent communication before we arrived and during our stay. His responses were very quick. He gave us the code to get in the building and apartment in advance. Lidl and other small supermarket are just opposite. A lot of free parking around. Thank you for some biscuits and small packages of juice for the kid, and a bottle of wine for us. There was ground salt and black pepper, kitchen towels and coffee pods, as well as cookeries. We wanted to use the big shower head but didn't know how to turn it on. Miguel replied to the message straight away and went to our apartment to show and sort it out for us. Both air conditioners in the bedroom and living room were working very well on the hot days and nights. The double sofa bed was prepared before we arrived as a family of 3. The sofa bed was double good size and comfortable. Our child liked lying/ sit down their with her daddy to watch TV, then fell into sleep. Overall, it was a good, comfortable stay with my family.

It would be great if it had a small bath tub for the young children staying in the apartment. The shower was so good but it was difficult to shower the young children in the open shower and strong shower head ( well, strong water pressure was very good for us as adults). A high chair would be great and helpful. Changing the small shower head to the big shower head could be tricky as the button was hiding. But the host Miguel replied straight away and came to solve it within 5 minutes. Free car parking around but quite full. Just need to take some time and have one nearby.

Het appartement was heel schoon en rook heerlijk. Alles was keurig. Matrassen van de bedden waren stevig, verschillende hoofdkussen beschikbaar. Voldoende kastruimte. Grote supermarkt vlakbij. Aan het eind van de straat begint de gezellige drukte van Belem.

Eetkamerstoelen maken veel lawaai op de vloer, met viltjes eronder is dat zo op te lossen.

Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and a very friendly host who truly cares about the guests. Easy check-in. The area is ideal for exploring Lisbon and for nearby trips, for example to Cascais. It’s not in the city center, but it has great transport connections, plenty of excellent spots, and restaurants. Much more pleasant to stay in than the center. Highly recommended!

The apartment is on the ground floor. Light noise from the entrance door and other residents may be heard, but it didn’t affect our stay.
