Only rested a few hours there this time. Love how the location is at the “entrance” to Uluwatu perfect as a base no matter for shorter or longer stays. Especially when sometimes going to canggu / Kuta or on the move

It had its ups and downs, but the price was definitely a plus.

The morning breakfast was nice, and they even offered scooter rentals. It’s also a great place to meet new people and socialize.

The bunk beds are made of steel, so whenever someone moves on the lower bunk, it makes a loud noise and shakes a lot. The mattresses were also unevenly soft, with some areas sinking in quite deeply.

I really like the nice breakfast they serve us everyday. It is freshly cooked and served for you whenever the lady/cook asks you if you are ready for breakfast :) Water, coffee, and tea are free too!

They have a house rule to turn off the AC at 11 AM and will be turned on again at 6 PM. It’s just so hot at times when I just want to rest in my bed and have a nap specially my body clock is different in their time.

This place is the best. It feels like you are walking into your own home. They helped me with so much that saved me money and time. Letting me leave my luggage there after i checked out meant i could ride around Bali on a scooter with a small backpack. I will definitely be back here.

Just incredible

Bali Bobo will always be my favourite hostel in Bali I’ll always come back to. The owners and staff are amazing and so welcoming, the facilities are perfect and the overall vibe is just very nice. Also the location, in between Kuta and Uluwatu so you can go anywhere (possibly with a scooter you can rent in Bali Bobo too). I was here in 2022 and came back this year, and Ill be coming back everytime. I you want to find a place where you’ll feel at home anytime and get all the help and support you might need travelling in Bali, come here! 💯

Bobo is a hidden gem in Jimbaran, perfect for relaxing, socialising, and discovering more about Indonesian culture. Agus and the entire team are amazing. A really welcoming and comfortable place to stay

A very welcoming environment. Very clean, comfortable beds and attention to detail. Good breakfast which changed every day. I had a great massage on site.

The location is a little out of the way but it is easy to get a Grab or Gojek.

Good hostel

Very friendly hostel with lots of information available to help you with your stay. Dorms were a good size, the showers were powerful, breakfast was amazing, freshly made and different each day. Tea and coffee freely available, as well as water. The location is off the main road down some lanes but very easy to get a Grab. There is a good value restaurant within a couple of minutes' walk.

Personally I would have preferred a harder mattress. Providing a towel is a nice gesture but the one I had was not at all absorbent so switched to using my own towel - not a big deal. Someone's money went missing in my dorm which highlighted that the lockers (which are baskets under the bed for which you need a fairly deep padlock) are not really that secure as with some of them you can easily get a hand in there. It would be better if the hostel could provide more enclosed lockers.

Fantastic!

This is one of the best hostel in Jimbaran. Staffs are very nice and helpful, they will assist you foe any questions. Hostel are very clean and dorm is big. One of the best is they have different breakfast everyday and staff will fresh cook for your breakfast when they see you.

What did I not love?! The staff, Kadek, Augus, and so many others made my stay very memorable. While I was in Bali, I came back twice! At the beginning and then at the end of my trip. This place is so special and you'll meet lots of other down-to-earth travelers here. The free breakfast was also amazing and it changed each day!

It is a bit far from Uluwatu beaches so it generally takes at least 30-40 mins on a bike to get there, but it is a central location to many popular locations so it just depends on what you're looking for.

I just booked this hostel because of the female dormitory, so I did not really have high expectations. What can I say, I got blown away by the hospitality and kindness of the staff. Also, the hostel is really clean and the beds are cozy as. They even cater for special dietary requirements like Vegan :)

- The staff is incredibly friendly! You are always welcomed with a drink or a snack, so you really feel at home! They also stored my luggage when I needed to. - The decoration of the rooms is amazing! I tried both the private room and the dorm and they are both really comfy and really well made!

helpful and friendly

The owners Ralph and Elly and their staff Esther and apologies I don’t know the guys names were phenomenal. They were so polite and helpful. Elly helped me with advice about extending my visa. Ralph cooks breakfast for his guests at the weekend and offers everyone a culinary treat nearly every day which is a nice touch. Everything is spotlessly clean. I was made to feel very welcome and included. nothing was too much trouble, thanks again. highly recommended

Nice hostel with the comfy bed , I like the situation of the bathroom even though it is just tight, it is something unique, also i like the open kitchen and the variety of breakfast which relies more on a mix of western food and local food.

Small pool , The atmosphere of the hostel will be more lively if it has a bigger room because it is one of the places where people can bond to chill, not just rinse their feet after the beach.

Comfortable hostel with friendly staffs

I like everything. All of the staffs are friendly and helpful. I remember one of them is August, didn't get a chance to say goodbye because he was off when I left. They made barbecue party for all of the residences on new year eve and we did some karaoke. It was fun overall. The bed is broad and room is clean.

The space for each toilet is very narrow, however the space for shower is okay. They should make the space for toilet and shower same size.

Amazing hostel in the south of Bali

Bali Bobo was my favourite hostel of all the hostels I stayed in during my Bali trip. The staff here are incredible - so warm and generous giving the place a very genuine feeling. The breakfast was great each morning, the dorm beds were comfortable with privacy curtains and reading lights, and big storage lockers too. I liked hanging out/working in the communal area and it was easy to make friends. Very social without being a party hostel. Good base for visiting all of the white sand beaches around the south and west of Bali/Uluwatu.

Bali Bobo is a highlight of my Bali stay

Amazing vibes, friendly and helpful staffs and backpackers, awesome facilities with a tiny pool, gym etc. it’s cleaned everyday. I was staying for more than a week and they tidied my bed everyday. Appreciate the efforts in preparing breakfast, desserts and welcome drinks to us!

Everything about this hostel was amazing. Staff were sweet, and it's a very social hostel. But even if you want to just chill and not socialize much, you can do it. Facilities are very good for the money you pay. I have noticed that many were doing long stays. Unfortunately, I could spend only a day due to my return trip. But would have loved to stay longer.

Exceptional

Clean rooms and toilets. I loved the vibe there, everyone's chill and the staff is amazing! By far the kindest and friendliest hostel staff I've had the chance to encounter in Indonesia. They are always there for a good conversation, they helped me organise my onward trip to Gili and offered delicious Indonesian delicacies many nights, and a welcome drink when I first arrived. Grab/Gojek are available and can take you everywhere around. Also, it was not too far from the airport, only 20min drive.

Booking.com referred me to this hostel when I looked for acomodation in Uluwatu, but this was not really in Uluwatu. Count 45min to get there. Also the hostel audience is slightly skewed towards the younger folks (early 20s), but I also met interesting people in their early 30s.
