The best part about this space was the location! 10/10 for that. One of the best options I could find for a somewhat decent price that was in walking distance of lots of the historic spots. The surrounding streets are historic themselves.

The two main things that made the stay less pleasant: The hot water was having trouble the whole time we were there so once I took a cold shower. The place had an overpowering smell of fabuloso cleaner when we walked in, which took a day to dissipate and gave me a bit of a headache. I asked if an early check-in was possible, the cost to check in at 3:00 instead of 4:00pm was another $25. My friend and I decided to go with that option as the alternative was standing outside in 39 degrees and rain for an hour with luggage. I've stayed in dozens of airbnbs and hotels all over the world and haven't run into a situation like that before where they charge you so much to check in a little early if it's available. Extra little touches and gestures at an airbnb are what give you a warm fuzzy & make you want to come back. I feel the service at this one lacked that, though I really appreciated the quick messaging response. Not sure I would stay here again.
