UPTHEDOWNS B&B

Upthedowns was perfect for our one night stay to attend an event. It was a large room with a very large ensuite containing a shower and a bath. All the facilities one might expect including tea making and wi-fi. The size of the room meant that TV could be watched from sitting in chairs rather than being on the bed. Full English breakfast was very nice. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Under similar circumstances in the future we would be very happy to stay there again.

Convenient and extremely relaxing. Great facilities and hosts.

Very average microwave bacon and flacid egg with white toast and not very nice coffee. Sorry: probably the least good cooked breakfast I’ve had in many years.

The very inadequate size of the bath towel. ( I told the hosts at the time). It’s the size that French logis used to produce in the 60’s! It leaves one with a feeling of the hosts being mean which, at £100 a night, is a crazy economy.

In a quiet cul de sac of Kemsing village about 4 miles outside Sevenoaks. Very comfortable room with plenty of space even on a summer night of over 30 degrees when we arrived. We were made to feel very welcome, served a good full English breakfast this morning freshly cooked at the time we requested. Met a couple from Germany who were the only other guests who had been before and liked it enough to return.

Nothing really, it is situated on a well established housing estate with mature gardens which might have been difficult to find without a navigator in the car but since we have one no problem
