Could not possibly ask for anything better!

Beautiful boutique hotel, in the middle of a vineyard. Gorgeous views, comfortable bedrooms, nice breakfast with local and homemade products. Great restaurants for dinner walking distance. About 20 min from Verona. The owner is extremely helpful, waited for us to check in late because of our flight, provided gluten/lactose free alternatives for breakfast, gave us tips for activities and places to go, provided an additional sofa bed for the room last minute when an additional person joined the trip… Cannot recommed enough, if you are looking for a nice, relaxing stay, this is it! 100% will be coming back if I’m in the area

Ideal for a peaceful and romantic stay in the vineyards!

I booked a stay for my parents 30th anniversary and they had a beautiful time. The staff was flexible with the check in time and also left a wine as a nice detail for the special ocassion. The vineyards and hotel are beautiful and they said the breakfast is very good! Thanks for being great hosts! Hope I can come visit soon 🥰

Perfect stay to enjoy Valpollicella wines!

Gorgeous setting, very peaceful and relaxing. Feels removed from everything but still close to everywhere including Verona and Lake Garda. Giuseppe is the ultimate host. Very gracious and humble. He makes your stay even better. Breakfast is soooo good! Enjoy the wine on offer with the honor bar. LOVE this place!

We had high expectations for Domus Cariana based on the Booking reviews, but Giovanni’s truly outstanding hospitality, combined with the clean and nice rooms and the beautiful vineyards surrounding the property, exceeded them all. Especially the 4-person room on two floors was absolutely fantastic, as well as the cozy double room. The location is perfect – from here you can reach the local wineries and excellent restaurants very quickly. 6/5!

Beautiful and set in a vineyard. For a beautiful peaceful peaceful stay, this is the place! You can buy a wine made from the grapes and drink it on the property. It’s overall so stunning and the rooms are so clean.

Possibly one of the most relaxing places we've ever stayed in. Friendly and helpful hosts. There was a lovely outside area to relax in and an honesty bar with their own delicious wine at a fantastic price. Plenty parking and a short walk up to the village for food. Breakfast was delicious. We will return.

It was love at first sight! The property is located in agricultural area with vineyards and gardens. Everything feels very nice and it gives a feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation. Rooms are clean and spacious. We liked the manager Giovanni as well who was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with homemade products.

Wonderful!

What can I say? I was so sad to leave. Giovanni and his team exceeded our expectations. The customer service was excellent and the setting was phenomenal. The farmhouse itself is beautiful and so peaceful and quiet - and the location, if you are interested in wine tours is excellent! We travelled by foot and public transport - which was entirely possible. The one thing I would add is that if you are getting the 21 bus from Verona to Domus Cariana then make sure you check and ask the driver for direction Domegliara not Negrar! The same bus has 2 different final destinations depending on the time and timetable. Get off at stop 'San Pietro Via Ingelheim' just after the roundabout by hotel Valpolicella. We had to find this out for ourselves but it was all a great adventure and we had a wonderful time. The breakfast was excellent and the Domus Cariana wine was just lovely.

Lovely place in the middle of the vineyards

Super cute and cozy hotel in the middle of the vineyards. The staff is very accommodating, including catering for gluten free breakfast etc. The surrounding area has very good restaurants within walking distance. The hotel offers local wines for a very cheap price which you can enjoy in their garden. Parking is available and the surrounding areas, with all the vineyards are amazing. We would absolutely come back!

Truely a small paradise in Valpolicella

It was the second time we spent at this lovely property. Giovanni, the host, is just amazing and does everything to make his guests happy. There are lots of restaurants and vineyards reachable by foot which offer great local wine and food. The property is stunning. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are perfectly clean and made with lots of love. We will definitely come back!

Enchanted with location and style

Beautiful location in the middle of vineyards just outside a village, which was useful for dinner in the evening. Charming and very responsive host. Delightful kitchen garden with raised beds of vegetables, apparently used as an educational tool for children! Fabulous views over the countryside.

You have to be reasonably agile physically to cope with those rooms that include a steep ladder up to a mezzanine bedroom. Not to be recommended after drinking too much of the excellent wine on offer!
