The property was adorable and very clean in the most perfect location nearby shops, restaurants and lovely coastal walks. Communication was super clear with checkin instructions and organising the parking permit for our stay and we were also left Welsh cakes, biscuits and wine on arrival which was a lovely touch and made the start of our trip feel special. Throughout our stay we were also emailed many recommendations for things to do, places to see and where to eat and drink, which was really helpful as it’d been some time since I’d last visited! It’s also worth bringing some DVDs as there’s a DVD player that’s worth using on cosy nights in when the weathers not at its best. Overall it was a gorgeous property perfect for a short stay:)

We didn’t have much to complain about at all, the only thing I’d mention is that the bed is quite small which was fine for us visiting as a couple as it was consistent with the cosy feel of the house but if you’re friends or relatives visiting it’s maybe not the most ideal sleeping arrangement. Other than that not a bad word to say!

The fact that we would like to live in this property, and wouldn’t change a thing, pretty much says it all. We are frequent users of local Mumbles Air BnBs, and none have managed to marry contemporary comforts with traditional seaside cottage appeal; in such a well presented way as Mel & Alison.
