The ClubHouse In The Heart Of Chagrin Falls.

This was a solo trip for me this time. I've stayed at Dewey's place quite a few times and love it every time. I was able to visit a dear friend and also enjoy the peace and serenity staying at Dewey's. I walked down to the Popcorn Shop and got ice cream and popcorn, and people watched in front of the shop for awhile. I can't say enough about my stay. The home is so comfortable and welcoming. Everything you need is right there. I love sitting at the kitchen table and watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. Hoping to get back to Dewey's in the very near future! Thank you so much Dewey for making me feel right at home!

This is the 4th time staying at Dewey’s Clubhouse. We absolutely love his home. Very eclectic with so much charm. We go there to visit a very dear friend that is battling an illness and the comfort of Dewey’s home makes the visit so much easier. Sitting at the kitchen table, watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks is so peaceful and serene. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your home!!

Anyone can occupy a building and call it their house, but a real home takes on the personality and characteristics of its owner. Dewey's home, filled with the mementos and milestones of a full life, is a reflection of a unique personality. The house is a jumble of rooms separated by steps of inconsistent heights. The old wooden floors creak comfortingly, there are antiques, the walls are filled with paintings and photographs. Everything you might need for an extended stay is at hand. From the front windows, the village of Chagrin Falls rolls out past the river and on to its small square, and from the back windows, one can watch the birds flit among the many feeders. The location cannot be beat. In the mornings after walking the dogs, we would head down the hill into the village. A stellar bakery is about a two blocks away. A local coffee place - don't bother with Starbucks - is situated across from the square. There are shops, restaurants, and a top-notch grocery store all within walking distance.We feel very fortunate that we were able to reserve this property over the holidays so that we could be close to family members. Like the homiest of homes, Dewey's house is filled with warmth and good vibes.Incidentals: the house is about halfway up a very steep street. Great for the glutes when taking a walk, but use caution when pulling or backing out onto the street. We were relieved to have no snow/ice during our visit.

This was our third stay at Dewey's Place. Absolutely love it! I sat at the kitchen table and watched all of the little animals scurrying around by the driveway. So peaceful!! I hope to be back very soon to visit a friend that lives in Chagrin Falls. Thank you again Dewey for sharing your home!

Easy and convenient

Our 2nd stay here and eveything was amazing once again! Great host, great location, cozy spot but with really nice amenities! This place is special and has charm. I really can’t say enough good things, we hope to stay again next year!
