Amazing place

Hosts were so friendly and amazing, our stay and the whole camp was perfect, very cozy, warm and quiet. The best part is the environment and view, which is like heaven, great looking comfortable houses surrounded by great looking woods. People in Plav are by far the best I've ever met in my life and the whole region, everyone's so helpful and outgoing.

Very nice place with great views

The view is magnificent. You are in the middle of the national park with mountains all around. The hosts were very nice and accomodating. The house was clean. The food is good and was prepared just for us

The main issue is that the bed was not comfortable. Also it is located out of town and the road is not well maintained so it is hard to get out and come back

Perfect Start and Finish point for the TOB

The rooms and facilities are really clean, the location looks beautiful, people are very friendly and really important, (especially after walking for a few days) the food is delicious. We stayed in a cabin for 2 persons before walking the Tour of the Balkans, and decided to come back when we were done. Unfortunately, all cabins were booked, but we could pitch our tent. (This could be the only minus point, as there are few flat spots to pitch a tent) One day later, there was a cabin available again, so we decided to extend our stay.

The ethno village is phenomenal, much better than I expected. The staff is friendly, the food they prepare has a special taste, don't miss their veal as well as kačamak. Perfect for enjoying with the family.

Amazing stay in the middle of the mountains

We are so lucky to have found Gradine during our stay in the Prokletije mountains. After a short ride on a bumpy road ( definitely doable with a rental car), you will reach a beautifully arranged Camp with several chalets in the middle of the mountains. The views overlooking the mountains are breath taking and you will definitely be able to reconnect with nature again ( wifi works really well in case you want to stay connected!). We rented the biggest chalet and were pleasantly surprised. It was spacious, comfortable, great bathroom, huge upstairs bedroom and great bedding. The place stays fresh and you will have no issues sleeping at night with your windows open as it gets quite cold, even in the middle of July. We ate there ( dinner and breakfast) and absolutely loved the food. Huge portions which were deliciously prepared. We even asked for Kacamak one evening and our host kindly agreed to make some especially for us. It was so good! It is easy to get to the Prokletije national park and you will find amazing hikes there. Hrid lake is also right next door.

Our only regret is that we didn't stay there long enough. We wished we had books 3 nights instead of 2!

Amazing hospitality, the woman who looked after us was an amazing cook and drive up and down the hill to cook breakfast and dinner for us! Accomodation was warm and comfortable, we felt very at home. The cat was so friendly and I’d your a cat person you’ll love her. ☺️

Absolutely lovely family-run place, in a tranquil location right in the Prokletje park. The house was spacious, clean, and cozy. The food was great, we got a chance to try several local dishes (kopriva soup was especially memorable!). But above all, the hosts were exceptional. We felt at home.

Beautiful hand-crafted accommodation in a stunning setting

This stunning accommodation in Prokletije National Park is well worth a stay if you're in the area. Meticulously constructed by hand by the owner over 5 years, the attention to detail and beautiful small touches make the entire experience so welcoming. The hosts (while they don't speak English) were absolutely lovely, making you immediately feel part of the family. Our advice - let them guide you on your meal choices and you won't go wrong. The veal was incredible, and all the food was so fresh. We stayed in the largest chalet on the site which had a commanding view over the valley with a bunch of beds upstairs and a comfortable sofa bed downstairs. The chalet was warm and comfortable with a decent bathroom. I'd highly recommend this accommodation for an authentic Montenegrin experience in this beautiful part of the world.

The road to reach the accommodation is quite rough, you'll be fine in almost any car but just take it slow.

Nicely located in the mountains, close to the jezero lake. Road from plav to accommodation is okay, 20 minute drive. Beautiful cabins, great food and warm people. We stayed three nights.

If the weather is hot, the sleep cabins can be a bit hot in the beginning but during the night it cools down. We had a good sleep there.

The way towards this compound. We have a ‘low’ car and the road is just very very bad. As others said already, you need a car high on its wheels. Preferably a SUV/4WD.

Eine rundum gelungene, spontane Übernachtung – professionell, herzlich, liebevoll geführt und absolut erholsam!

Alles war überragend! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, familiär geführt und liegt in traumhafter, ruhiger Umgebung – ideal zum Abschalten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Service rund ums Frühstück: Wir hatten am Vorabend mit dem Gastgeber kommuniziert, da wir sehr früh weiterreisen mussten, und er hat uns sofort angeboten, das Frühstück extra früher für uns zuzubereiten. Das war unglaublich aufmerksam und keineswegs selbstverständlich. Auch die Gestaltung der gesamten Anlage ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht – man spürt, dass hier mit viel Herz gearbeitet wurde. Was uns ebenfalls positiv überrascht hat: Bis 24 Uhr waren Getränke verfügbar – ein Service, der heute alles andere als selbstverständlich ist. Trotz des erstklassigen Service spürt man dort eine entspannte Leichtigkeit – nichts wirkt aufgesetzt oder aufdringlich. Man hat Raum für sich, kommt zur Ruhe und fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an einfach willkommen.

Es gab absolut nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Lugar encantador con muy buenas vistas y instalaciones creadas para relajarte y desconectar. Mucha tranquilidad y conexión con la naturaleza. El propietario era muy amable, esperó a que llegáramos aunque fuera ya caída la noche. Nos enseñó las instalaciones y nos sirvió (previo pago) un buen desayuno por la mañana que nos llenó de energía para hacer senderismo en la zona. Muy recomendable.

En general todo estaba bien aunque el acceso final al alojamiento es un poco complicado por el estado de las carreteras de montaña en el país.
