About this villa rental
Villa Maria is a great property located on a fresh water canal with boat dock. The house is very spacious and comfortable, bright and light... more than 2,700 sq. ft. The property offers living room and family room, both accessing directly the pool area and both have new leather sofas. Also one of the two master suites is opening directly onto the pool area. The main master suite including bathroom was totally remodeled recently. The main master bathroom has separated soaking tub and shower and two vanities. There is even a pool bath. Formal dining room and breakfast nook. The kitchen has a pass-through to the lanai which is wide and ideal for entertaining. The entire living area is tiled with light colored ceramic. New floors in all the bedrooms. The pool with its special shape is electrically heatable and overlooks the fresh water canal where you will enjoy seeing birds and other wildlife. It also has the perfect Southern exposure to enjoy sun during the day and beautiful sunsets... even a boat dock.
A few minutes away from the beautiful Manasota Key beaches. Shopping very close.
The property is located in the prestigious area of the Rotonda West Golf and Country Club with five golf courses nearby.

When walking into this home, it feels like home.Decorated very nice. Whole house stereo is nice.Kitchen appliances are new. Furniture is very nice and looks new as well..

We returned to Rotunda after a 10yr absence. It’s still as lovely as we remembered.
Villa Maria is a fabulous (BIG) home from home to explore the area. Great outdoor space and pool, so peaceful and sun and shade if you want it virtually all day in the pool area. We sat and watched a bunch of wildlife in the canal and general outdoor space, including a swimming gator!
Communications were impeccable.
Despite hurricane Helene we had a fabulous time, it’s a sturdy house!
We look forward to returning to SW Florida.

Having stayed in the area for some 20 years first impressions of the villa were good. It was easy to get to, plenty of space and the layout worked well for us. Our first time out by the pool however we were surprised to find a number of tiles around the edge of the pool were loose. We contacted the management company who were quick to respond and visited later the same day. It was during the visit they actually pointed out that more of the tiles were broken and confirmed they were already aware of the problem, but had failed to mention anything to us. We were advised to "be careful" during our stay. When the tiles were wet and whole corner sections could move under your feet, you really did need to be careful as it was an accident waiting to happen. They did advise it would be fixed in September so hopefully nobody else will be subject to the hazardous conditions. A nice villa but didn't quite check all the boxes for us.
