While our stay was “OK”, we’ll likely choose a different property next time.

The property’s proximity to the ocean is what makes this rental worth booking.

The interior appears to have been “updated” over time but the finishes, appliances and furniture are very low budget and (in our opinion) not commensurate with the great ocean view. The bathroom is extremely small and the queen bed is not comfortable. There was also a smell (strongest in the kitchen) like something had been burned on the stove, though we couldn’t really pinpoint what it was. We paid over $325/night and notwithstanding the great ocean view we expected the interior finishes to be much nicer. The exterior of the home is also not overly attractive, with what appears to be limited effort to give it a nicer curb appeal.

We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!

Awesome view, comfy little place. We took fire logs so we could have a fire.

Rattling noise in the living room wall. Very annoying. The windows were dirty, maybe have a squeegee available to clean them?

Power went out during our stay. No help from the property management, no help from booking dot com

The only thing good was the view until the power went out we couldn’t see anything and never got refund for the power going out during our stay. Power went out, my 3month old daughter was cold because the heater wouldn’t work due to power outage during our stay.

The power went out during our stay and the property management wouldn’t help with anything. My 3month old baby was cold and not comfortable due to the power outage the power never coming back on so no heater would work. No refund no discount no help what so ever. It was supposed to be my honey moon and the power went out and never came back on. Worst experience ever for a Rental I paid for.

View from Depoe Bay

Spacious lower level of house, had everything we needed for convience in kithen and bath, and bedroom - clean sheets & pillows! Lots of books, puzzles, etc. And after a call to maintenance, a new DVD player was brought over to replace the non working one. Best of all was the spectacular view of the bay! If you love hearing the waves and ocean at night, this is the place for you!

Dish TV went out our first night and DVD player didn't work, missing a cable and batteries. Played card games instead of movie.

Took us a while to figure out the heat. It was too cold when we got there. The bedroom blind was broken so we couldn’t see the ocean. And there wasn’t any soap to wash the dishes with. And it took an hour to find the house & the firemen helped us. The GPS didn’t work, it was night. Easier to say go South on the bridge, take your first right & go up the hill to the end of the street.
