We didn’t like that the bathroom was not very private with it being open plan so you can hear all that goes on… The rock paths feel dangerous.

A private jungle where the chalets are built. Clean, spacious rooms with a stunning view of surrounding mountains. Fabulous food and beverages. Incredible hospitality from the staff. All in all perfect getaway for all kinds of groups.

Fabulous views and kind generous and very good staff, especially Sashi. Very good food and we had all our meals there as there’s not much around. They catered to everyone’s needs. We did the included walk with Sashi and it was brilliant.

The property needs a proper review. We identified several maintenance issues that are easy fixes - low fixtures in the bathroom, dirty curtains etc. For the premium prices the charge, it didn’t live up to the hype.

The location was nice. The staff that attended to us was nice and went out of their way to help.

It was not worth what we paid. Aside from the room, and the general lobby/dining area, there isn’t a lot of place just to hang out. So you are limited to a small space. We had a fan in the room, which would have been fine but we were there during a hot period and it was very warm in the night even with two fans on. The bathroom while clean was very basic and not the standard that I would have expected for the price paid. It was large, but the finishing was not high quality. What we really did not enjoy was the nature walk with the naturalist. He was clearly very new and inexperienced, and in the end we did not have the experience we expected. We did nature walks at two other properties in Sri Lanka which were excellent and this was clearly not the same. For a place marketed as a nature resort, you would think having an experienced naturalist would be very important.
