The definition of a room with a view

If there were competition on booking.com for best hosts, Vesna and Milo would get the first place - for sure! Such hospitality and kindness is not seen to often these days. The apartment itself and the view from the balcony could be the definition of the room with the view and the near beach is definitely one of those most beautiful.

It's not a downside but please be mentally prepared for lack of cellular coverage in this place, so in other words - no internet on your smartphone ;)

Sleek studio apartment in a perfect Mljet location.

The hosts were super-friendly and very keen to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. All the doors and windows had mosquito nets, so we keep them open and listen to the Adriatic lapping the rocks below. Location was superb for visiting all Mljet has to offer.

A fan would have been nice (it was exceptionally hot when we stayed).

Wunderbar

Die Villa Victor liegt ein wenig abseits der Ortschaften in aboluter Ruhelage direkt am Meer. Vom steinigen Ufer ist man nur durch eine Zufahrtsstraße getrennt, die direkt an einem ruhigen Strand endet. Falls man nicht über die Felsen zum Meer klettern kann oder will, geht man zum Strand keine 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein Parkplatz befindet sich direkt vor dem Haus. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist die Infrastruktur gut: zum besten Supermarkt der Insel (Tommy) sind es wenige Kilometer, der Fähranleger in Sobra ist 15 Minuten entfernt (hier gibts auch eine Verbindung für Tagesausflüge nach Dubrovnik). Die Gastgeber sind überaus herzlich und hilfsbereit!! Man fühlt sich vom Begrüßungsschnaps bis zur Abreise sehr willkommen. Das merkt man auch am liebevoll gestalteten und sehr gepflegten Appartment. Die Ausstattung umfasst alles, was man benötigt. Da das Haus über Photovoltaik versorgt wird, gibt es außer dem Kühlschrank keine großen Elektrogeräte. Handy und Co können aber geladen werden. Das WLAN ist solide, mobilen Empfang gibt es aber nicht. Wenn man Ruhe und Meermomente sucht, ist man hier gut aufgehoben.

Propre, situé au centre de l'île et vue exceptionnelle, face à la mer

Appartement avec terrasse et une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer (on a même vu passer des dauphins !). On n'entend que les cigales et les vagues !! La rue en dessus est une impasse qui mène à une plage, alors la circulation est faible. Les hôtes, qui habitent en dessous de l'appartement, nous ont extrêmement bien accueillis et conseillés....merci pour tout ! L'appartement est très propre, très bien équipé, spacieux. On se rend à la page à pied (5 min). Appartement situé au centre de l'île, à égale distance de la pointe Est (plage de sable) et Ouest (parc national) , à 10 min d'un supermarché TOMMY et de la grotte... Nous y sommes restés 4 nuits, c'était parfait !
